If UGA had not played Boise

UGA could be 11-1 and playing for a shot at the NC. If they beat LSU now it will make the SEC look weaker.
When you play those games you have to win them.

We can do this all day. If Oregon doesn't play LSU, Bama is sitting at home.
If Auburn paid for another QB, they could be 12-0.

if we are doing hypotheticals:
UGA doesn't play boise, sticks with Louisiville. we win there, not as demoralized and without injuries. we then go into our game vs USC with more confidence and without all of our weaknesses completely shown vs Boise on the national stage and instead of completing collapsing and scoring half of USCe's points we win
then we are 12-0 and you have game in the century round deaux. but anyway...

Yup... we dropped Louisville to play BSU... Still would have had to beat LSU in the SECCG & that's a long shot at best...

Me too. Some of them really need to be brought back down to earth. Just don't see it happening though unless Bama pulls it off in the NC game.

The stregnth of schedule would have killed them. Who is to say the team they played in BSt 's place wouldn't beat them too?

The issue is that at home, they should of beat a Boise team that showed they couldn't even run the table in a weak conference.
Georgia is a pretty good team, but based on the fact they miss LSU, Bama, and Arkansas, that BSU game was a must win for them.

you don't think so? they had all just gotten piss pounded by boise state in front of a home crowd and national television audience at prime time. they were booed in the 3rd quarter, they didn't know if their coach was coming back, and they just had to get through #13 or so South Carolina. i figure they would have been a little more confident following even a mediocre game vs Louisville
