If TN beat Oregon would it be the greatest upset in Tennessee history?

I expect to get beat by at least 3 touchdowns. But if by some miracle of God we won would it be the greatest upset in Vols history?

Line is at -28 so statistically yes. I don't think I ever saw Tennessee +28 in my lifetime. Worst line I remember is -18 Florida 2001 at the Swamp. We beat that arse though and it was the most satisfying victory ever. Travis Stephens with 226 rushing yards.

2005 LSU was UT's greatest upset in its history.

For most of its history, UT beating someone would not have been an upset., so it probably would be.

Maybe...I think UT was a 24 point underdog when they beat LSU in BR back in '05.

Nothing tops App State beating a top ten Michigan team at the big house.

That was epic upset.

And sadly, LSU was criminally underrated as only the third best team of all time. It was a miracle you guys won and I commend you for it.

UT had barely beaten UAB and lost to Florida, LSU beat #15 ranked Arizona State in Tempe the week before.

I really want UT to win. I know what the last few years have felt like and I know that big win will rejuvenate the fan base like nothing else.

Then I want to play you in the SECCG and revenge our Cotton Bowl loss to you.

No. That would be when we beat No.1 Auburn with Heisman Trophy winner (Beau something or other) in the mid 80s.

Greatest upset ever? No, I don't think so.

Statistically it would be, I suppose, but in terms of impact, I really don't think so.

1982 Bama, 1985 Miami, 2001 Florida are all mammoth IMO.
