BTW, if I were Skippy's coach, I think I'd have no choice but to kick off the team. That or bench for rest of season, regardless of any playoffs, and tell him to find another team. Portal opens in a week or so.

This unwritten rule bs is why baseball is considered by many a pansy sport.
Mercer takes their players off the field because he hurt their feelings lol. What a joke, Samford kid was taunting and being an ahole and there should be a way for an ump to deal with that (either eject him or some other remedy) but sack up Mercer and use that anger to play better, walking off the field in protest is an embarasement.
