If the sec ceased to be, what conference would you want your team in?

Alabama is the only one that could realistically go independent much like Penn St was for years.
Alabama could only fit the Big 10, as it's the only conference that fits Alabama from historic and tradition standpoint. Albeit culturally different, but that's becoming much less important in future expansions.

Tennessee could go to the Big 10 too, UGA as well. Those 3 could be in a Big 10 South division and could totally be realistic.

UF, USC, UK, Vandy, AU(Clemson w/o a lake) fits the ACC.

LSU, AR, Mizzou, A&M fit the Big 12.

OM, MSU in the AAC or Conference USA.

How about we form a new conference called the Southeastern Conference?

We could get teams like

Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
Georgia Tech
Kentucky
LSU
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Sewanee
Tennessee
Tulane
Vanderbilt

Both Ole Miss and State have too big of fanbases for the American.

Tho it wouldn't surprise me if for example the Big 12 would only take 1.

But the state of Mississippi would politic for both to join a P5 if the SEC dissolved or whatever.

Pac-12.

I'd choose the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. I'd bet we'd be fairly competitive most years.
