I don't think Lanning would leave Oregon for Alabama. Too much money at Oregon and his path to the playoff is much easier in the Big 10. I could very well see Demeco Ryans coming and he would be a great fit. I'm hoping Deboer works out but though our defense is very physical, our offense just isn't showing signs of being able to do what it takes to win in the SEC.

I was as surprised to hear that Alabama hired Deboer as I was when LSU hired Miles back in the day.

Coaches have huge egos and LK will want to have his own legacy .Alabamas is Bear and Nick.At LSU if he wins big he can go down as the greatest coach in Tiger history and not an afterthought to the great Tide coaches.

Demeco makes less than 5 million per year in the NFL.

Unfortunately, I think the selection committee preserved his job for another year.

Lolol. Stop this nonsense. It’s a top tier job, but there are reasons a coach would leave any top tier job for another

LOL. I know Saban went to The NFL between LLLsu and BAMA. It's called a joke. Perhaps you should wash the sand from your vagina before you post stupid shite about what may or may not happen at BAMA if a coach does or does not fail.

Why? They are nothing alike. Les Miles was a .500 coach Big12 coach whose best season was 9-4. They were 7-5 the year LSU hired him.

DeBoer took Washington to the playoffs, won a playoff game, played in the NC game and has a good record in his time as a coach.

Lane would shite in the endzone of that trashy Tiger Stadium and wipe his arse with Mike the Tiger's tail on his way out the door of that shithole to coach at Alabama.

Damn. That's HARSH.

Kirby is the GOAT at UGA and he is working on his Dynasty at his alma mater. He might leave for the NFL, but UGA would have to fire him before he ever left willingly.

Agree, Kirby isn't going anywhere. Probably not even to the NFL. He's got it good at UGA.

Kiffin is an odd ball. It depends on if he has a championship. If he gets a championship with LSU, it's gonna be a lot harder to pry him out of LSU to go to a place like Bama. Both have easy recruiting paths. Bama he is more just living in the Saban shadow than the Saban shadow at LSU.

All bets are off if he doesn't have a national title though. His arse will jump at the chance if he thinks he can get a better situation to get himself a national title if LSU doesn't pan out.

L-O-freaking L . Yes the guy raised in Georgia, who is a Georgia football alumni, who married a woman who lettered at Georgia, who has his alma mater at the top of the game in CFB, will leave the college town of Athens, Georgia for the college town of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Thank you for making my day.

Why would Kirby move. Why would GA let him go?

Depends. Has Kiffin won a natty at Lsu at this time in your fantasy? If so, BAMA takes Kiffin.

Alabama will never hire Kiffin, but speaking of which, it took a long time for Kiffin to build a decent team Alabama’s best bet is to likewise give DeBoer enough time to develop a team with his own recruits.

Kiffin: 28-15 at USC, 7-6 at UT, 26-13 at FA, 32-17 in conference at Ole Miss

We'll wait until Kiffin has them headed to the playoffs then snatch him away. Don't want to hear no bitching or moaning! God have mercy on their souls if they post a thread about it.
