Brian Kelly has a insane buyout..no chance he gets fired this year. They could lose every game and no chance(they will not). 60+ mill...not happening.

Considering how bad Michigan is at passing, their playbook, etc. I'd put 50% chance Underwood transfers. Who would he go to next? Maybe the school he was with for a year. That's the thing these days. Just bc you miss out on a recruit and got ditched last second does not mean they won't come back to you in the future. Aaron Anderson did that to LSU. 5 star from Nola, went to Bama freshman year, left after no playing time as true freshman to LSU, now our WR1 or WR2.

If Nuss goes down during the season, most LSU people will give this team and its coaches a pass, IMO.

frick that. Brian Kelly is a fricking fraud, building his resume at Division II Grand Valley State, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, and the biggest media darling, Notre Dame.

He cannot win the big games.

Notre Dame has improved since his departure.

He should have never been hired by LSU.

No, Nuss had a bunch of bad games last year so wouldn't make sense as an excuse.

Kelly said the injury is a 1.5 on a 10 point scale. He gone.

I am not upset that Drinkwitz has two quarterbacks that are still competing for the starting quarterback job. One of them will be the backup. He has learned that lesson from last year.

Seat gets hotter, reference Georgia 1995, Goff lost both a star in the making running back in Edward’s and QB Bobo before end of September, still finished 6-5 and got canned, w’s and l’s are all that matter.

I think his seat gets hotter with fans but the administration gives him a pass.

If he loses his starting QB of course he would. If they have any significant injuries on a new OL that would get a coach a pass as well. People have got to readjust their expectations of what a successful program is. There will be no more lengthy dynasties. Schools like Alabama, LSU, Auburn, TN. SC are going to have to decide whether you want to pay coaches 10 million a year and have less in NIL to disperse or find a young coach who can recognize talent and develop players and have money for NIL. This current system is not sustainable for schools like these whose NiL budgets are very similar to

I would say he likely gets a pass. He’s recruiting well, righted some recent issues via the portal, and has LSU in a position to contend for the conference. You can’t fault him if your senior QB and captain gets injured.

This is wrong….except for the part where LSU kicked your arse each time….none of the games were very competitive

LSU went out and bought an SEC QB to be their backup. I'd say they are in a better situation than most teams if their QB1 goes down. BK needs to win no matter who is at QB, unless it was his million bucks that brought in State's QB. If that's the case, then I guess he gets a pass.

Kelly's problem for three seasons has been defense, with a capital D. If that doesn't improve in a hurry, the only bye he gets is bye-bye.
