Also, you want to just forget about LSU losing two games?
nah, but number of losses is just one of many data points to consider...there is also number of wins, strength of schedule, conference champion, etc.

Sagarin has LSU with 4th hardest schedule...

LOL. Georgia in win or lose, and deserve to be.

OP's thought process: "Let's see what I can write to get the most responses tinged with anger."

That actually isn’t completely unlikely. I think Georgia has a good shot of getting in over USC there though

So, in your scenario, a two loss LSU should be allowed in and a one loss UGA shouldn’t? You flunked logic, right?

What the frick do you not understand about the BCS?

The BCS was determining FBS championships in 2003. LSU won the BCS championship game.

You really are a high school dropout, aren't you?

This is how I see it playing out:
- LSU wins out
- Ohio State wins out
- TCU wins out
- USC wins out

Playoff seedings:
1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. LSU
4. USC

This is likely how it would play out unless the ACC winner has 1 loss.

If that's the case, no SEC team gets in.

I don't think they'd put 1-loss UGA or UT in ahead of LSU in that scenario... but they MIGHT put 1-loss Michigan in ahead of 2-loss LSU.

In that case their might not be any SEC team either.

Which was clearly wrong. I'm sorry you are having a hard time accepting reality.

Here's the list of 2-loss P5 champions who've made the CFP

UT isn't making it without help. They aren't getting in over any 1 loss P5 champ or even a 1 loss non-champ UGA.

Tcu is undefeated, OSU and UM are undefeated, the ACC has two one loss teams and the PAC has one.

If LSU wins out, UT is certainly out and LSU becomes the first 2 loss team in the CFPs, as it is about how teams finish.

If LSU loses and UGA wins out, UT needs 2+ P5 Champs to have 2 losses or more to even be considered.

Has an SEC team had an undefeated 15-0 season?

LSU likes to be first

First to 8-0
First to 15-0
First to lose to another SEC and divisional foe in a title game *******
First 2 loss BCS Champ
First 2 loss playoff selection?

First 2 loss playoff winner?

Okay. LSU won the BCS championship in 2003. If that only counts for half a championship, then somebody needs to inform the other 10 teams that won it at some point or another.

I'm done engaging you. You're too stupid.

LSU would have same number of wins, a harder schedule, and the conference championship ring...
