Youd better prep for a long off-season then....LSU is the better team and will likely cakewalk through coastal.

That's the privilege of being an LSU fan in baseball, just like Gumps in football and Tucky in basketball.
When you not only have the most championshipsbin the conference, but have them by an almost untouchable number by the rest of the conference, a natty loss here or there doesn't affect you all that much.
The Florida finals in 2017 sucked more than it should've, but only became it was at the expense of another SEC team. If wed have lost to on.OOC, it would've resulted in a few gripes and shoulder shrugs.
ETA: However, if we win our eighth, I will constantly remind Tennessee fans that we have more CWS Championships than they have trips to Omaha. I hope that is agreeable to the rest of the fan bases.

LSU's been there, and recently - and in more than one sport. Tennessee, OTOH, last had a title in anything remotely "major" was 2008 in Women's Basketball; in a Men's sport, it was 1998.
How many titles has LSU won since 1998 in Men's team sports? 6?
Yeah, they'll be entitled to some bragging, but nowhere near as bad as Tennessee.

Now that is a solid point. I have no problem with LSU adding another year to their outfield list. We won’t ever catch them in baseball so what do I care? I don’t even know where the heck Coastal is located. But I do know the coach who retired and left this team was a really good one. I think he was ill.

We aren’t going to be losing a single game in Omaha this year and this board is simply going to have to come to terms with that. When LSU teams make it to Omaha, the voodoo starts kicking in.
