so your personal rival is LSU. I don't even consider LSU/Alabama to be a rivlary in the true sense of the word, but you hate LSU as much as anyone on here hates another team. That much is clear.
You just don’t get it… I survived 2019 without much of a bruised ego… watched games with LSU friends, paid bets to LSU golf buddies, rooted hard against Clemson and others… but nothing major in the way of gnashing teeth regret….
…UNTIL THE DAM AUBURN @$&*#% GAME…
You people are so isolated from the rest of the US that you mistake chiding a delusional fan base with “hating a team.” Get over yourselves… LSU isn’t the center of the SEC universe. Cholly Mac was right when he said in his retirement speech that “maybe the fans ought to get out and travel around some…”

You people? You’re one of the same people most LSU fans are. You just wear a different color t-shirt on the weekend

Link to where I said it was

I’m from Memphis and hate Ole Miss more than any other team. Why? Because I grew up with a ton of Ole Miss fans. You’re from New Orleans and hate LSU the most. No one would think less if you if you admitted it. You don’t interact with Auburn or TN fans on a regular basis. There is nothing to breed your hate for them except for other Alabama fans telling you what it’s like. But you do know what it’s like to be surrounded by LSU fans every day, which is why you, personally, hate them more. It’s ok, I promise. You won’t lose your Alabama fan card by saying it

My name is Gideon Swashbuckler.
I like swashbuckling, and I HATE lsu. I feel no shame about this, and it will never change.
Also, all of your food tastes like fricking mud and/or bell pepper.

LSU is the secondary rival of Ole Miss, after MSU. Nobody else gives a crap about LSU. After Tulane left but before expansion, LSU was a freaky outlier on the edge of the SEC, largely ignored by most other teams. This is partly why so many LSU fans are publicly felating the sips around here - trying to whip something up other than apathy.

It's a rivalry, and will continue to be so. We just have more of a history with Tennessee and Auburn

It’s a big game and big games come with emotion. I don’t have the hatred for LSU that I have for Auburn and Tennessee, though.

How about the next year when Saban jumped into McCarons arms after the win.
Then your bayou butt babies got smoked 8 times in a reaux and the shine wore off that penny rather quickly.
Kind of like sandwiching LSU's only win in 10 tries with 29-0 and 55-17 losses at home. Not helping your case.

A&M ran from their rival.

Bruh beating Bama 1 out of the last 10 tries ain't a rivalry...
Auburn for sure and maybe Clemson... LSU, nah.....Anyway, why do you care?? Does it somehow give your program credibility???

That's not even worse they have done.
Alabama had a win streak of 11 games over LSU in 70s and early 80s.
Also another period going 9-0-3.

Bull crap, the only LSU fans that are stating that “Alabama isn’t a rival is because We( LSU fans) get our teeth kicked in half of the time we play Alabama. Also, all of Alabama’s fan base consider Lsu as a legit rival. In addition, the winner of the LSU/Alabama game basically decides who will represent the Sec west in the Championship game. The winner of the Sec west division has represented the Sec in the national title game 10 TIMES since 2003. The only Alabama fans that would say it’s “not a rival would base their opinion solely on the fact that they have won 8 of our last 10 meetings. If one researched a little further they would discover that Lsu has won 7 of the last 10 games prior to 2012 season. Thus far Alabama has a winning percentage of 2 to 1 against lsu. Those number alone represent competitive rivalry throughout history.

If Alabama plays Clemson 8 times in 10 years is it a rivalry? No, it isn't. We aren't culturally related, our states don't touch, there is no intermingling of fans during the week, we don't do the same things and don't really relate to each other.
LSU fans eat a plate of crawdads for lunch and Bama fans have a bagged lunch with a bologna sandwich and a beer.
It's not the same. We can never really be rivals in that sense. We can be adversarys and we can respect each other and that is probably as far as it will ever go.
so, in all the kindest regards and with no sarcasm intended it's going to have to be an application denied at the point.

It was a rivalry from the time saban got to bama till the 21-0 game , even after that we had at least 2 ot games. It really didn’t get super lopsided besides the 29 -0 game and last year . 2018 was ten to 0 .. people forget how great it was in the earlier years of saban vs miles

It was a one-sided hate-fest directed not towards Alabama or Alabama fans, but at Saban specifically. Outside of this message board and others, rabid fans who keep up with the news, spend a lot of time on the Internet, etc... most fans didn't even realize the majority of LSU fans had totally lost their gumbo.
Daddy is gone, bro. Daddy ain't coming back and there is no reason for the hate. We tried beating it out of y'all with season after season after season of brain bashing beatings and it didn't work.
We have other priorities in the form of rivalries. Please stop prostrating yourself and your fanbase and your team by grovelling for some form of acknowledgement from Bama fans.
You have a lot to be proud of as a rabid and enthusiastic group of crazy and lovable fans. That's it though for BAma fans. Don't dwell on it. It just isn't in the cards anytime in the future that I can envision.
For God's sake, Bama has both Auburn and Tennessee. We we decide to allow another full-fledged one, we will likely pick Georgia or somebody like that, not LSU.
Texas and LSU, on the other hand, are culturally related, especially on the border there. It's a melding of Cajun and Tex and it's unique. There is your rivalry, big dog.
