This off-season coaching carousel is gonna be so fun. Mere rumors is going to get flash mobs going.

Works for me. Would be nice if he was available when lsu fires Brian Kelly.

Lane about to get a raise this offseason.

He gets a raise literally every season lol. Like I said Ole Miss fans are veterans of weathering this talk

This account likes to stir up crap on social media. As far as I know, they've never shown to have any kind of actual info.
IAKOW hates Stricklin, and uses the platform to bash him all the time. I'm right there with everyone else in their dislike of the guy, but not sure I would put too much credence into this.

Um..remind me how many SEC and National titles in CFB please?
Florida has more SEC titles
More national titles
More Money
Much better history
Very, very, very easy to see Florida is an insanly better job. You have to be beyond dumb to think it is even close. It is not at all...

probably the same source from Swamp247 that said Kiffin's daughter applied to Florida last October when Billy was on the hot seat.
Be sure to follow me when the coaching changes board opens up. You can join the LSU fan that mentions my incorrect Bo Davis call every year.

Florida is a cancer of a job, and the lure of Flotida is extinct in the NIL era.
You gators need to realize this to move on in life.
The OPs story is just propaganda to save face in a dying program.

If that is true that AD needs to be fired and publicly whipped

It will be because he plays on social media like a shunned schoolgirl.

I wouldn't count on this being true at all, but Florida is not throwing a bunch of money at anyone. We will hire some young up and comer and try and get lucky like we did with Golden.

lol!!! pathetic attempt at damage control. Your superiority complex couldn't take a hit like that.
Smart move by the dumb arse to go ahead and fall on that grenade early to try to control the narrative, its the least he can do after the last botched hire.

We aren't interested in taking a big bet. Our last "this is the guy everyone wants" was Muschamp.
For whatever reason we aren't interested in poaching proven P4 coaches. It can't just be money, I think we firmly believe we can cycle through G5 coaches until we get a winner, but we stuck with Napier way too long. Three years and you win or take your buyout.

There was a time when both Princeton and Rice were national powers. Things change and Fla has no inherent right for success.

No team does. It can come and go. It's about resources plus a desire to commit to winning.

When Napier gets let go, we will have spent $153M on buyouts and salary for 4 failed head coaches. That's just the head coach, not all the assistants we've bought out too.
When we brought in McElwain we paid the largest buyout in history to Colorado St of all places.
We've spent a ton of money - on failure after failure. But nothing has been cheap about it.

There's not really a winning formula. Look at all the first time HC that have their teams positioned for playoff contention.
Hell, Mullen had 9 years as an SEC HC. Won 2 national titles as an offensive coordinator. From a resume standpoint - should have been a sure thing. Never know until they get the job and take the field.
