If DeBoer loses to Heupel, does it seal his fate?

Not saying Gumps will lose...I expect them to win. Our offense is too anemic.

But what if? I mean, they DID lose to Vandy. So anything's possible.

"Rebuild" year, right? Just with one of the most talented rosters in football, if not the most talented. Not a good sign that's for sure.

They are a 1 point favorite on the road. It'll piss the Finebaum caller fans off but the logical fans who actually donate and the admin aren't taking away much from this game unless the Vols blow them off the field, which I highly doubt happens.

No. DeBoer will be given at least 3 years

If he fails he will be fired. Its that simple.

Nah. That'll come after losses in Baton Rouge and Norman.

Completely new scheme, philosophy and staff. Even if they retained some of the terminology, the players will have a learning curve to adapt and fully be ready to play without some limitations to the scheme on both sides of the ball.

W-L vs UTk, I think Bama gets stronger as the year goes along. They certainly can't be much worse than they have looked over the last 2.5 games.

Fortunately, UTk looks fairly inept at the moment as well.

It may be an old school special education match where both sides play like they are trying to lose.

Well they did lose to Vandy and were out played at home against South Carolina, and should have lost at home. Sooo, who knows. Bama has tons of talent but is playing like a middle of the pack team. Somethings wrong.

We need to get used to it. Bama is an unknown. For the rest of the season we don’t know how any game will turn out. We may win more than we lose but there are very few games we can mark down as a W before they are played.

Yes, they fired Saban for losing to UT in 2022.

No. As frustrating as this season may end up being, he should have the chance to implement his system/plan. This is still a pretty new situation for the coaches, players, support staff, etc.

Not if....when. Bama's best shot is to try to attack our linebackers out on the perimeter as much as possible followed by quick slants down the middle with the loss of Pili. He was a sideline to sideline beast. Arion and others are going to have to step up.

We'll see how good of a play caller Doboer is this game. Am expecting a lot of misdirection plays with Milroe and their backs to the perimeter.
