How many people think if Chiz loses this Saturday that Petrino's phone won't be ringing off the hook...?

Terry Bowden is in the works for a 2 year deal. Everyone knows what he can do with the talent, just dont let him recruit for too long.

Jacobs wouldn't give Petrino the time of day. You really think Auburn (with all the shite we've gotten lately) would go out and hire a coach with a shitty past? Gimme a break.

The chances of this happening are about as good as Arkansas hiring BMFP back this year..Chizik isn't going anywhere.

I heard Saban was next! Something about rebuilding and playing against his own recruits...

At the very least, it will be difficult to trust that petrino won't be fooling around.

With everyone focused on what our coach is doing, at least it would take the focus away from our players be criminals

No, Julie has decided to wake Chizik up from his good sleep.

Lazy today: what is Chiz's overall W/L record as a HC? Assume that if the NC yr's record is removed, it is a losing one overall? Not a flame, just curious.

I disagree with this. There will still be major programs out there that will take a chance on him.

I would not hire him, but I'm not so sure about "never". I can see him getting another OC spot in the future (and it will not shock me if he gets a mid-major or higher HC gig in a couple of years).

Not unless there is a major program out there who's AD doesn't do their homework.

Let's see

1. He doesn't believe in defense

2. Any man who would cheat on his wife in untrustworthy

3. He's a TERRIBLE recruiter

4. HS coaches in Texas hate the guy

5. His offensive genius tag is over hyped

6. He's now screwed over two colleges and an NFL team

just as a start

I could seem him being as an OC somewhere, but he's done as a big time head coach.

While at Arkansas:

5-7
8-5
10-3
11-2

And he did the same thing at Louisville. Ultimately wins are what matters. With all of his baggage he could probably be had for a pretty good price. Just make sure you write up a good contract that basically gives you the right to fire him without pay if he screws up in any way, shape, or form.
