Why So Chicken To Lock The Boards...???

Why do the LSU folks lock the board following an arse kicking? Funny how you dish the heat but can't take it yourself....

Personally I was coming over to say the players were almost all very respectful and congratulatory after the game, telling the Tide players what a great they played and that they wanted them to bring home that championship...

The players show more class that the most of the people associated with this board...

So I'd just like an answer,,,, Why lock the boards?

OK, let 'er rip Tater Chip.... Last week was the worst week of picks in 12 years of Larry's Losers... The upset bug was busy and I was busy flying down to sunny Tobago for a little birthday bash with the wifey and friends....

To make up for the total lack of preparation in last week's picks, the Pug and I have gotten together by email to compare notes and we promise to do better this week...

By the way, I deserve all the scorn I get from last week's picks,,, Don't think I've ever missed more than 2 from any week...

Had to post this from the airport as the Mrs. and I are headed to Tobago for over week of diving, drinking and debauchery. Don't worry though, I'll be back next week to post the losers if those people have the squirrels running in the wheels that powers their internet! (G)

The prognosticating pug will give me his views by phone from Florida and for those that think he deserves a vacation too, the house sitter has a dog he's had a crush on for a while now, so he'll have his fun...

Oregon has a glass jaw. They run up points on teams with girly man defenses that either can't or won't "punch you in the mouth".... They wouldn't last long in the SEC and the injuries they'd mount up would make Georgia's looks mild....

To answer the question, Texas A&M might just outscore them, but Florida, Alabama, LSU, South Carolina and pre-injury Georgia would have beaten them in my humble opinion... Ole Miss would give 'em a game and Tennessee would just cripple them... (G)

Hell no, they're adding to it! As members, they've upped their game, they're adding to their stadiums and becoming more and more worth of being in the SEC... As they play more out of conference teams they just add to our "mystique"...
