Nobody is playing in the spring that’s the biggest joke out of all of this.

What a great March Saturday...

A noon Auburn vs Florida baseball game.
A 3:30pm tipoff vs Bama in the SEC basketball tournament.
An 8:00pm kickoff for the Ohio St-Wisconsin football game.

I'm in!!!!

ETA: I don't really expect them to play in the spring (although a smaller conference or two might just for the exposure), but, hell yea, I would watch.

Nope, wouldn’t watch much if at all. Football is for Fall. The true champ will already have been crowned, so it will be meaningless exhibition games. Pass.

No one is playing in the spring. That's a manufactured narrative from the pansy University Presidents.

Not to mention, they can count out most seniors.

I can see you really love some college football.

Why in the hell would you care if other leagues played in the spring? I would bet at least 70% of true college football fans would watch. I agree it would have no bearing on the national championship, but it would much more enjoyable than watching end of spring training games.

Oh well...to each his/her own.

At the moment, the Ivy League is planning on playing in the spring. If they do, they will blow away the highest TV ratings they have ever had (which I admit is not a lot already). It may be so successful, they might consider doing it permanently. Especially since they don't compete for the FCS championship anyways.

I'd watch games on Saturday night I'm sure, but I wouldn't dedicate my Saturday's to college football like I do in the fall. Yardwork, hunting, and other activities would fill my weekends in that regard.

I highly doubt there will be football in the spring. The Big Ten is just saying that to placate their top teams/coaches.

Just depends. Im sure Id watch some, part of me wants to tell them to frick off put of principle, and then part of me is into UK basketballat that point plus Reds spring training and MLB beginning. PGA action, house work, etc. Honestly I don't really ever watch any of those leagues uness they are the Thursday or Friday night game in season. I pretty much ALWAYS just watch whichever SEC game is on.

Hopefully sports bars are back to 100% by then and I can have then

SEC is the only entertaining conference week in and week out. Big 12 can be somewhat entertaining as well. But, I could care less about watching the big 10 and pac 12

I’d watch them more than ever since their games wouldn’t be on at the same time as real football.

Maybe they should make this permanent. 2 college football seasons wouldn’t be all bad. The B1G and PAC would be happy because the Rose Bowl would be for the spring championship every year.

Do I want to say I wont watch? Yes... Will I still watch anyways? Yes.

I believe that to be the most truthful answer for all of us

Then, as I saw in many YouTube vids, HOW will they do that & a fall schedule only months apart?
