Obviously in the new 100 game format you can lose tons of games and still win but gicen fsu last year it would be a bad look. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it happened in what will be a ravenous doak cambell

Define trouble.

What if he loses that and goes 10-2 or 11-1?

Oh just another random thought that popped into your head that you felt like starting a thread on.

Daboer was in trouble the minute he took the Alabama job. The guy must have a real ego if he thought he could keep that program steady after Saban.

I am curious how many people were gonna win 9 games by destroying LSU and Georgia with that roster.

2 win Norvell? Can't win a playoff game/rivalry Lanning?

Of the realistic choices for Bama they actually got the best one they could get. Other coaches could've easily went 7-5 with Milroe if not worse. And you woupdve seen an actual implosion.

Alabama should have just shut the program down after Saban retired. Nobody else is going to be Saban so why even play the game anymore?

Sure, why not? Alabama reminds me of Saudi Arabia and its “oil curse.” So much football talent/obsession, it’s holding back their own development.

Yall still can’t spell DeBoer?

Also, Florida State is in complete shambles. We will beat them like a rented mule.

LSU has a defensive issue. Unless Joe Burrow walks in the locker room again, LSU has to solve that.

Bama has to buy in and we will be fine.

DeBoer and staff are excellent

What a group super senior hired mercenaries did. 2-10 is more the speed of the Mike Norvell football program, considering he's primarily had losing seasons. Also, that "playoff snub" lost by 60 in their bowl game.

It’s always a roll of the dice when breaking in a new quarterback.

That being said, lose to FSU, Bama would be in real trouble, it would take some kind of effort to drop that one.

Who knows maybe fsu is a pretty good team, hard to say in the portal nil who knows, I think fsu is a 6-8 win team and it’d be a bad look to lose to them with that much prep time, but ND lost to niu and still played for a natty last year.

Florida State hired Gus for offensive coordinator. You should be worried he still has some of the Malzahn Magic left to put a hex on Alabama.
