I am not aware of any crazy NIL deals that A&M players have received. Either it is bagmen, or there must be other reasons that these kids choose A&M. Could be the culture, the massive investment in facilities, Coaches, or the resources. If/when we win a National Championship, most of you just want to set the narrative and try to put an asterisk next to it. Right now our NIL game is not that strong, but you can dang sure bet that it will be sooner then later.

He is also visiting Florida and Hawaii. The dude just wants to go on a few free vacations.

I agree. One class like this doesn’t win a championship, but if you put another one together next year you’ll very likely be in the conversation come 2023

Do you say the same thing about Kirby Smart? He hasn't won a championship. He's stacked multiple #1 recruiting classes and still hasn't beat Saban. Not shitting on him, I think he's a great coach. Just pointing out that since we've landed ONE #1 class it's all of a sudden championship or we somehow "mismanaged our roster". Where was the criticism when Justin Fields left Georgia and did great things at Ohio State? Where's the criticism when Burrow left Ohio State and did great things at LSU? Did those schools mismanage rosters?

Man gtfoh with that. You know good and damn well it's the money. There literally isn't another viable reason an average, run of the mill program with limited success like A&M has the best recruiting class in history. I'm all for schools taking advantage of NIL now that it's a part of the game, but some of you Aggie people need to stop feebly attempting to set the bs narrative that this had to do with ANYTHING other than money.

Dude, Don't get all flustered. If you need a loan, just ask.

wait and watch

NIL is for individuals to market their name and image with legitimate businesses. Boosters providing incentives for players to sign with their team is still a ncaa violation, and it won't be difficult to identify owners of those businesses and whether they are legit.

Emmert suggested there are schools under investigation. He said the NCAA is investigating “a number” of schools for potential NIL violations.

I just gotta say this clearly:

People who think cash and benefits are a new part of the game, or who think thar their school hasn’t been part of that crooked game, are damn fools.

We haven't in a long time, but if the word on the street is correct, we have taken the restrictor plate off the bus and are about to get aggressive.

Laying out the rationalization on the front end is the very definition of fear.

Pathetic

Seems pretty factual and must be true.
By the way, do you think Trump colluded with the Russians? Well they said he did.

Recruiting them is one thing, keeping them, utilizing them, and putting it all together for a natty is whole different story entirely.

There’s going to be a lot of egos in that locker room…

Yeah. It's just a coincidence I am sure.

Les Miles proves it takes more than top players. He squandered a championship or two. Jimbo will always call the offense, A&M was not devoid of talent this year. That would be my concern if I was an A&M fan.

Never paid munch attention to A&M as they have largely been irrelevant in football forever.

They are doing what they (think) they have to in order to compete. It will likely make them more competitive. It will also create more expectations, different team dynamics and internal pressures. We shall see.

TBH surprised this many folks are so stoked about paying 18 year olds with daddy’s money.

And yet they're still set to play tonight. The 8&4feit aggies didn't have nearly that many quit and they still quit on their bowl game.

A&M has to be rooting for UGA. If the dawgs can't get a championship with their recent recruiting classes then Aggy has no chance and history will continue.
