I like your post. Shows some genuine reflection and research but Jordan Davis is way better than Terrance Cody. By a lot. That dude is unreal.

Op great post. Some Alabama fans on this website are so freaking insecure that can’t admit a lock for a top 10 pick, barring injury, who weight as much as a Mack truck and runs a 4.8 and happy enough to eat double teams for his teammates to destroy everyone might be better than a player on their team

That's not really unique to Alabama fans, but I appreciate the post regardless.

I would take Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Adam Anderson over Anderson.
Carter will be a higher draft pick.

What is scary to me is how freaking fast that guy is.

It is fun watching him run down QBs way over toward the side lines. He has a motor.

Kentucky may still win that game even without all those false starts killing drives, but to give all the credit to Kentucky's defense without acknowledging the penalties is being a bit dishonest

They still held UF to 171 yards rushing and 13 points. Alabama gave up 29 points, 258 yards and a 1 yard away from being tied going to OT. Also, had UA not picked up the first down late, UF would have scored to win the game.

DL or DT?

If it's entire DL, I think Will Anderson deserves a mention.

Over Will Anderson?

Really?

Yes. Really.
Lol

Jalen is a top 5 draft pick.
Jordan is the unicorn.
Adam Anderson has the best pass rush AND he drops back in coverage. Fans dont realize how rarely Adam Anderson is set loose in the pass rush for the past 2 seasons because he is our Sam linebacker.

Whose starting job is Will Anderson taking?

I would say you haven't watched much of Will Anderson. He's the only guy I wouldn't trade UGA for. I might keep Drew also. He's young but he's showing signs of greatness. The rest of those guys including Josh Jobe you can have.

I think you’re dismissing Will Anderson’s skill a little bit too much.

My reference is that defenses are scheming around a specific player. As an Alabama fan, I distinctly remember Cody drawing 2, sometimes 3 guys to block him. It was not meant as a "Jordan Davis equals Terrance Cody." I am sure there are other guys who have done the same, but Cody is the one I saw the most of.

Three Georgia players for Will Anderson sounds like a fair deal to me.

I didn't say anything when you took your position earlier. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I felt like statistics do not always tell the whole story.

Thanks for the correction.

He actually put on weight at UGA (though I presume it's pretty much all muscle), as I think he's increased by 20lbs from his freshman to senior weight.

He has fought his weight the whole time at UGA...and as a result has had some stamina issues. He worked extremely hard this past off season to overcome those issues, and obviously it is paying off. He has made himself a lot of money with his hard work.

This is one of my favorite Jordan Davis plays. He is holding his ground while being double teamed by Landon Dickerson and Deonte Brown, and then with a super human feat of strength, he one-arm presses Dickerson to squeeze the opposite A gap and stymies the RBs path. Unreal strength there.
