Minkah requesting a trade because he can’t do what he was drafted for:

He was drafted to be a slot corner and part-time safety...the new Dolphins Coach did not draft him and the DC is not using him as such. They're wanting to use him as six different positions; that's not what 'he was drafted for'. According to one report:

quote:

Dolphins made Minkah learn six positions this off-season, including two LB spots. This was so simple: He was best slot CB in league last year. Play him there and some boundary. Coaching staff couldn't do the obvious, and now their 2018 first rounder wants to leave

According to PFF last year:

quote:

According to Pro Football Focus, Fitzpatrick allowed a 69.0 passer rating when targeted last season (ninth among corners). He posted 0.84 yards allowed per coverage snap (12th) and 14.1 snaps per reception allowed (13th). When in the slot, where he spent the majority of his time, he allowed a passer rating of 53.4, which was tops in the league.

Bama may have some busts...all schools do...don't think Minkah will be one of them. Doesn't make it right but he's not the only Dolphin looking to leave Miami, according to multiple reports:

quote:

NBC Sports reported on Sunday night that several Dolphins had contacted their agents with orders to get them out of Miami after the debacle. Late on Thursday night, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported the Dolphins had granted permission to defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick to seek a trade.

Alabama has more starters than any other school at RB, DL, LB and in the secondary.

Two Heisman winning RBs just came off great performances and look to have all pro years. Josh Jacobs up for ROTY already.

How about Fournette and Guice? How they doing? Sony Michel? Not too hot.

Alabama has more players on NFL rosters than any other school. When you put that many into the league then some are going to underperform. Law of averages.

Not to mention the undisputed GOAT at WR in Julio Jones. Amari Cooper isn’t too bad either down in Dallas.

Eddie Jackson has out performed any LSU DB over the last couple of years.

I know the Rant obsesses over Bama but give it a rest. It's funny you clowns only focus on the negative. Care to put some effort into detailing all of the successful Bama players? No? OP has a micro penis btw.

This isn’t OP’s tiny penis...don’t worry

Maybe if he'd start cycling some of that Patrick Peterson Pick-me-up Juice he'd play better.

It's not fair to label all LSU folks are obsessed - but there is a portion of the LSU fan base that is terrifying obsessed with everything having to do with Alabama.

I don’t disagree with this. It’s fricking weird. I’m a big Alabama fan, always have been, and for most of my life it hasn’t been an issue for fellow LSU fans, but in the past say, 8 years, I take a lot of shite for it.

Is there any Bama fan bothered by this ? At all? In any way?

I don’t think so. I hope they all do well in the NFL and if they don’t well at least they made a lot of money with their first contract.

Also, a lot is dependent on the situation they’re drafted into and luck with staying healthy. Tom Brady is considered by many to be the G.O.A.T but if he was drafted by the Browns he probably would not have been as successful.

OJ Howard had no receptions last night but he’s now the best fullback in the NFL.

When evaluating NFL talent, one should always take into consideration:

1. A player thats a standout at Alabama should grade lower than a comparable player from a weaker school. ( I guess any school not named Alabama or Clemson). At bama, your surrounded by more talent then anywhere else.....which makes the player look better then he would normally be....it prevents other teams from game planning against that player..... The same theory works in reverse....when u have a standout at Kentucky..... he should be graded higher considering he’s surrounded by less talent and other teams can game plan for that player.

1. You don't number points if there's only one point.
2. Apostrophes are your friends
3. Bama
4. You're
5. ???
6. ???
7. ???
8. ???

Real talk..

How good is Saban?

This dude is winning at an unreal rate with clearly a lack of talent compared to the big dogs.
