So in your world, a 3rd round pick who became a starter his rookie season and is still the unquestioned starter at safety for one of the best defenses in the NFL is a bust? He's not elite, but he is far from a bust. Does an Alabama draftee have to be a pro bowler in their 2nd year to not be a bust?

When evaluating NFL talent, one should always take into consideration:
1. A player thats a standout at Alabama should grade lower than a comparable player from a weaker school. ( I guess any school not named Alabama or Clemson). At bama, your surrounded by more talent then anywhere else.....which makes the player look better then he would normally be....it prevents other teams from game planning against that player..... The same theory works in reverse....when u have a standout at Kentucky..... he should be graded higher considering he’s surrounded by less talent and other teams can game plan for that player.

Looking up box score and seeing someone had 6 tackles means nothing ask those fan bases how they feel about that player they’ll tell you
