I have a legit question that I do not know the answer to...

But when was the last time that an AP Top 5 team played an unranked team in late November or after in which it entered the game as less than a TD favorite?

I'd really like to know the answer to that question because I'm going to guess its entirely rare.

If Mond Monds, we will struggle.

AU is just too banged up, lot of players out and/or not 100%. Unless the Aggies beat themselves, but I feel the offense plays much better, looking for Spiller to have a big game (jmho). BTW, saw where Blackledge & McDonough will call the game tomorrow.

That kind of thinking doesn't fit for a playoff bound team. There is such a thing as style points and you must have them if you want to get into the playoffs

Probably why A&M dropped in the rankings this week.

Beating LSU by two TDs instead of three after having our momentum taken away for three weeks just doesn’t make me feel any worse about playing Auburn. Sorry. It just doesn’t. Especially with the defense playing at an elite level.

Mond is what he is. Inconsistent. But we only rise and fall with him when playing top level opponents. No disrespect to Auburn, but they’re not one this year.

A&M just needs to run the ball and play its defensive game. If Mond avoids turnovers - as he’s done nearly all year - and puts together a couple decent drives through the air, then A&M should be in great shape to take this one somewhat comfortably.

I think the actual nuts and bolts of this game favor A&M, though.

Auburn's run game is still all banged up and A&M is very good against the run.

A&M's bread and butter is the running game and Auburn is very average against the run. Steele will load the box and make Mond beat them down the field (which is an A&M concern, I'd say).

A&M played pretty awful offensively last week, so you hae to assume they were locked in this week with focus and prep. Auburn isn't going to catch them looking ahead or overlooking anything.

It goes without saying that they will sell out to stop the run and force Mond to prove he can hit the broad side of a barn. If he is on, it will be a long day for Gus. If not, the run game may not be enough.

He can't. He is the equivalent to a vegetable.

Look for A&m to fold up like a cheap suit in this one.

Now that was just unnecessary. Mond is one of the most frustrating QBs I've watched. He's either lights out or lights off.

At least with a bad QB you know what to expect. With Mond you have to wait until the 3rd or 4th series of every game.

Gus will pull this off. He always gets a big win at home.

I expect this to be a very good game honestly.

I agree. This is usually a competitive matchup and I think it likely will be again. I just know how things operate here and if the 2-score victory were to happen, that's the response I'll expect. One thing is for sure...at some point early in the game, our D will get screwed up by some of the eye candy and a long run or jet sweep will be had.

I guess I've never owned a suit so cheap that I considered folding it.

I've had a really cheap tent one time. I threw it out when it started smelling like corn dogs.

Agree. BUT if A&M goes in there and man handles Auburn they’re no doubt the #4 team. frick Ohio state. How can they seriously put them in over a 9-1 aggies team with 1 loss to Bama? The cfp is worse than the bcs if that happens.

Yes. Quite often. He went 11-34 against the LSU def. that's the equivalent to a vegetable. He is just not good. Got lucky against Florida's potato of a defense.

So you’re saying we shouldn’t have our worst game of the year. Got it. I’ll call Jimbo right now and give him the heads up.
