Bama people...where is saban at this moment (not looking at the upcoming playoffs) in relation to bears titles? Do yall think that that is one of the major driving factors for saban? Like can you see a scenario where saban wins one more title than bear then hangs it up?

I think Saban will be doing some task one day, realize he can't do it the way he wants to do it because of phyiscal/mental aging/fatigue, and he will quit.

Either that or he'll die. I'm not trying to be funny or mean, I'm being honest.

He's going to realize he can't do some thing at the same level as before because his body/brain won't let him, and at that point he'll be done. And it will end up being something most of us see as mundane and silly, but it will be proof to him he can longer compete at his standard and that will be that.

Saban started mellowing out emotionally after he became a grandfather a few years ago.

But he aint leaving. Yall gonna still have to deal with him a few more years.

Agree. I don't think he'll burn out emotionally. He already would have if he was going to.

Has anyone had 4 in a row?

Or 8. If he went to 8 other schools would just stop playing football.
