Just to be a thorn in y’all’s and the SEC’s asses and wins multiple SECC and Natties.
You fricks probably could have had him gone in 3-4 years and off to the NFL.
Now our autistic coach is going to stay longer for for spite.
Each time smiling at Stankey as he hands him the SEC trophy.

Dudes 1-0 for y'all and has never won anything.
You'd think the Brian Kelly years would give you the smallest bit of humility but you can't help but count your chickens before there's even an egg.

Eh If Miles and Orgeron can win a NC here, Kiffin will win at least 2.

Sankey won't be the SEC Commissioner when Lane wins his 2nd, 3rd or 4th national title.

never done it or gotten close

coach is going to stay longer
has a history of abondoning programs and short tenures
So basically, you are predicting that he will do what he has never done and stop doing what he has typically done.

Wow heard the same thing about Brian Kelly I gotta be honest I'm not buying this theory.

Lane isn’t a thorn in anyone’s side.
He’s a very good college football coach. He’s also a childish, petty, arrogant, selfish, narcissistic, barely-legal coed chasing frat boy.
He also gives off some sociopath vibes. The dude is messed up.
He’ll beat the shite out of us (along with everyone else) as long as he’s there. But that doesn’t make him a thorn. He’s just a shockingly unlikable person. And annoying. I don’t like it when people like that win in life.

Has a Sun Belt team ever won a national title?

Of course.
It’s not going to happen in year 1 most likely. It’s not going to be THAT easy.
But he will build the program stronger and stronger. I believe LSU will be the elite program.
God knows he’s going to get all the support he needs from LSU and boosters now. You guys have no idea how much ammo you’ve given him.
And as the OP points out, every accomplishment will be viewed bigger than it otherwise would have been because if the pushback.

Florida swore they had him, and you guys were salivating at the thought.

He's never been at a school where he can set up a dynasty like he can at LSU. All his previous stops were either stepping stone programs, where coaches always leave if offered the HC job at a premier program, or dying blue bloods (USC, Tennessee) where they might have the history, but no recent success. Neither USC or Tennessee have near the amount of recruits right in their back yard that LSU has.

Nothing good will come from hiring Lane. You’ll win some games, but trust me, the ending to it all sucks

All I know is that Ole Miss and Tennessee will have biblical arse beatings coming their way.
Just placed a bet for LSU-Ole Miss alternate line of LSU -13.5. May do another of -20.5

You mean a thorn in the ACC’s side?

Brian kelly years showed us with the worst coaching in decades we could still beat Florida

Sure he will win multi national titles ..remind me how many Natties he won at Tennessee and Southern Cal again?
Tenn has 6, USC has 11. Def can't win National Titles at those schools.....

A good coach can set up a dynasty anywhere....Look what the Indiana coach just did at Indiana.
LK man end up building a dynasty there, but he doesn't deserve a pass for the shitty things and his failings in the past. He could have done teh same shite at OM, Tenn and USC had he not failed or left.

You didn't care about any of that when Lane was at Ole Miss. Why would LSU fans care now?

If Lanes stays at LSU it’s because they won’t be able to afford the buyout. No
big college program will hire him away as a head coach with the drama he brings.

All LSU wants to do is play, but the sec office has continued this clown show.
