So what would your opinion be if Lane leads LSU to Multiple championships over the next 5 years and Ole miss sinks back to an average program? You might want to save your judgement a few years and see what really happens. It doesn't make any sense to judge either team 3 games in the first year with or without Lane Kiffin...

You MF’ers are still talking about Kiffin?

Seems a little weird, but you do you.

Y'all have been talking about him non-stop for the last 9 months. He just shite the bed. Pretty sure he will be talked about until the end of the season.

Nobody is ready to let the LOLSU fans down that easy after all the shite we have had to listen to.

I’m on record here saying I didn’t want the MF’er hired as HC to begin with.

Without a doubt the most over analyzed game both before and after the game.

Move on.

The LSU-OM game has been hyped up and talked about since LK left. It’s embarrassingly obtuse to pretend to not understand why so many other fanbases are noticing LK lost to the team he left and giving them shite for it. Just the nature of sports fandoms.

Agreed. Ole Miss could have won the natty last year and could this year. Not sure why he abandoned a team that has just as good a shot as any team he will have at LSU. He missed out on two great chances to win a natty

Because I called him being 'Lame' for a reason.

He’s gotten more national publicity since December than he got the whole time he was at Ole Miss. Doesn’t seem like he’s contend with just winning a championship(s). Seems like he thrives more off the attention he gets.

Um..Bama did not have an extremely expensive roster(even if under the table, I would bet anyones life it was not even remotely close to 40 Mill). The only teams spending more are Ohio State and Texas. So..Lane is def not Nick Saban...at all. You are beyond delusional if you think so. You think he is as good as Kirby Smart, Urban Meyer, etc don't you?

It’s estimated conservatively to be between 38-42 million

Yikes, not sure I'd publicize that.

As for the rest, it's too early to make any judgments. You can't say anyone can win a natty now because only Indiana has, it's possible Cignetti is the new GOAT. Or it's possible anyone can win.

Ole Miss making the final four isn't some amazing new thing, Washington made it twice and played for a natty. TCU played for a natty. Teams like Cincinnati have made the final four.

Lane didn't come to LSU for 2026, he came to LSU because he felt they'd give him a higher floor overall, and I'm inclined to believe that's true. They're certainly spending more money than Ole Miss does, and generally recruit better.

But we live in a world where Ole Miss can actually win a National Championship

It’s hard for some people to adjust to.

Sure, they can.

So can ULL. And Western Michigan. And Sam Houston Institute of Technology.

It's just much likelier to get the pieces needed at a team that's actually done it before.
