I think Aaron Murray is an a-hole.

I was a student at UGA when Aaron Murray was qb. And I watched him rack up 400 yard passing games against the Kentucky’s of the world only to play like absolute shite against the top teams. I will make an exception for when he played Bama in the 2012 SECCG.
I’ve also met him in person. The guy is an absolute douchebag. I’ve heard his family also sucks. Therefore, I actually found it amusing when Nick Fairley dragged his nuts across Murray’s face.

That being said, Dawgs by three scores this weekend.

Aaron Murray is one of the best UGA QBs since I was born. He was a 4 year starter for us, and was playing under Richt coached teams which while usually talented didn’t have anywhere near the competitive culture we established once Kirby took over. The only QB who has been a better college QB than him for UGA since 1990 definitely is Stetson Bennet, and I think Gunner will be as well by time all is said and done. Stafford was more talented but not as good in college.

You’re also making attempts at revisionist history in the OP because of what comes off as a personal grudge against Murray, and not anything to do with him or his character.

I was at the LSU game in 2013 which was the Murray vs Mettenburger game and all the drama it entailed since they both came to UGA in the same class as freshmen and Murray beat him out.

That LSU team was very very good and only lost to us 44-41 who was ranked 9th, bama who was ranked 1st, and weirdly unranked Ole Miss going 9-3.

How does passing for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns strike you? Sounds like a pretty good game to me and not against “the Kentucky's of the world” while being extremely clutch that game.

I’m not going to go through every single game to disprove your point but Murray was awesome every season after his freshman year and very rarely were losses on him or the offense which was supremely talented including guys like Todd Gurley and Malcom Mitchell. It was almost always on the defense which was par for the course under Richt coached teams.

For example that same year we beat LSU we lost to Auburn in a game where he passes for 415 yards.

Sorry he fricked your GF or whatever but he was amazing for UGA; and if Bamas lineman doesn’t get his big paw on that last play in the SEC championship game the intended receiver Malcom Mitchel was wide open in the end zone to win the game and move on to us crushing ND and not Alabama to win the Natty

Even his freshmen season which was by far his worst he still went for over 3000 passing yards had 24 TD and only 8 INT which was the fewest he ever had in all four years.

The refs probably called unnecessary roughness on Murray.

How many times did we lose to Florida because of his costly turnovers? How many championships did we win with him? Youve sucked his dick at least once haven’t you?

Well said.

OP is obviously not UGA.

Aaron Murray still has the conference record for passing yards and passing TDs, I think.

With the 5 to play 5, those will probably get eliminated fairly quickly.

Only more forgettable UGA Qb was the guy who played tummy sticks as a kid with Pollack. Green I think?
