I'm not "instigating" anything, goofball, I'm pointing how much of a media created hype Texas high school football players are.

It appears you selected one small group to shite on... entirely based on race. How you can misconstrue that as not instigating is puzzling af.

They were wildly overrated, Texas has a ton black kids who were busts too. I was just pointing out that Texas was the only place I'd seen where a bunch of white kids, who are traditionally viewed as less athletic and you know it's true, were given lofty recruiting ranking based on statistics put up against similarly average competition.

Race thing is weird but Texas not producing talent is a legacy of how they're treated once they sign.

Texas produces the most NFL draft picks despite over 1/3 of the state’s male athletic talent pool being 5’5” 145lb Mexican guys.

If I had to say a texas group was overrated it would be oline because of the offense that is run there.

We have and have had very good defensive players and good offensive skill players from there.

OP is a white guy saying Texas players suck bc white guys in Texas suck using 3 examples, no black people have offended or compared whites/blacks or said a thing about white people, you guys need to check the OP instead of being race baited into bringing up or speaking bad about black people when they haven’t done anything

On second thought, forget it. These conversations never go anywhere productive on this forum.

The 2022 NFL Draft is officially in the books. We now know which states are producing the most NFL players. The state of Texas tops the list. A total of 32 players that attended high school in Texas heard their names called during the 2022 NFL Draft.

Per capita Texas is not the highest but neither is Florida

SEC territory is fertile recruiting country. So it should be little surprise that NFL rosters are littered with players from the South.

The Detroit News published revealing information that showed 28.7 percent of players on an NFL roster at last season’s end came from high schools in either Florida (11.7 percent), Texas (10.1) or Georgia (6.9). Florida led all states in the category with 213 players, Texas was third with 184 and Georgia fourth with 125

Florida leads the way, but Texas HS football is not overrated.

You dropped profiles of 3 guys in a span of how many years?

Nevermind the fact that Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Manziel, RG3 have won 4 of the past 11 Heismans and came from TXHSFB. We can ignore the fact that schools like Ohio State, Oregon, LSU, Bama, and OU have contended (and won) utilizing some star athletes from Texas. I believe there was a week in the NFL not long ago where 8 of the starting QBs were Texas HS products. Mahomes, Luck, AP, Brees…just a few more names to consider.

As a season ticket holder to Texas High School football, I can say you are very jealous.

HS football is just different here, it is a religion to many. Parents actually move here from other states to have their kids play Texas HS football.
