That is a great post. I also have LSU family. This game has gone way beyond just normal bantering. I'm pretty tired of it all. I'm just ready for the kickoff, when it's about football and none of the nonsense.

Your lack of self awareness is amazing.

Seriously, I'm ready for this stupid game to be over and done with so we can all just get on with our lives

I can't post a picture of Chambliss on Xwitter without 30 LSU fans talking shite in the replies. I'm sure it is the same thing with an LSU fan just out there supporting their team.
This shite is old and honestly it's zapping all of the fun out of this game... at least, for me.
You're one of the assclowns that talked the most shite. You perpetuated all of this bullshite, and now you want to complain??? Typical pussy ole mrs fan.

Sorta get what you're saying, reb.
I got so tried of the bama game "hype" when Saban took the job. It went from an anticipated rivarly game to an overhyped, overcovered, over commercialized circus. Guys who had no idea what our record were were posting on stop frick saban memes and hosting watch parties.
Games like LSU/ole miss are special on their own. Its a deep rivarly... it doesnt need a circus, in fact its better without it.
Anyway, GEAUX TO HELL

I think you have mistaken me for some other account. Sure, I had fun with it a little bit, but most of my posts have been football centric.

Exactly.
And the media is milking the hell out of this one.
Believe it or not, LSU was always my 2nd favorite SEC team.

Yeah, I am worried about that more than anything. Win or lose we both have huge games next week as well. We go to Gainesville and you host A&M. Hopefully Pete can keep our team "up" for next week. Sumrall is a hell of a coach.

A quick breather when this one is over and then comes a playoff rematch.

How can any person let a college football game impact their daily life?

Slow down, Kemosabe.
It's not affecting my daily life but it is overtaking the football season, which is something that I really like to enjoy.

Perhaps football is not for you. You should consider another interest or hobby, such as scrapbooking, pottery, or candle making.

I stayed in the Hampton Inn - West in Oxford Tuesday night. It was $118 before taxes and fees. The Hilton app shows that Friday night that same Hampton is sold out, the Graduate $3,920, Tru is $970 night.
The rate for those same hotels on Monday is $152 for the Graduate, $106 for the Tru, $105 for the Hampton Inn - West.
So rooms are 10 to 20 times the normal cost Friday night.
