He will be in surgery immediately, and I'm sure some of best orthopedic doctors in Indy will do a great job on him.

Tib/fib completely snapped in half. Hopefully it can be repaired with rods/screws so he doesnt have to lose any of his leg.

I hope Louisville wins it all now.

It's going to take a lot. It's hard to overcome something like that as a team.

No. No he won't. He will never play basketball again. He will walk with a limp the rest of his life.
I saw it, and yes it looked terrible but like I said he's seeming some great orthopedic surgeons as I type.
He will need a lot of PHysical theopary but should be fine I wouldn't rule out a return to basketball and guarantee he won't have a permanent limp

Video if you must watch
Do not recommend watching it, can see the bone at end of video when it's over.

Yeah, doubt that they will. They have definitely turned into the team I'm hoping to win it though.

Mom and Dad were both PT's, both saying that they've never seen anything that bad. They said it was overcomeable with tons of therapy and heart.

His entire team looked away. Man...it happened right in front of them.
He must have some weak bones. His ankle gave. Perfectly normal, but for his shin to completely snap in half because of his own body weight is insanely rare.

What? I rubbed dirt on it and crawled 3 miles out of the woods
Actually I may have cried a little waiting for the ambulance. The drive was the worst part. That 4x4 ambulance they sent didn't have shocks I don't believe.

I know a guy who was deer hunting in a climbing stand and the bottom half fell halfway down the tree.. he had to jump down and when he hit the bottom platform his entire shin bone came down through the bottom of his foot through the wire mesh. Then he had to jump down another 10-15ft.
He had no cell phone and had to limp/crawl like a mile to the main road and wait for a car to drive by and take him to the hospital (a friend had dropped him off and wouldn't have returned for another few hours). I couldn't imagine having to go through that
