I hope he doesn't leave. It's true he choked last year, especially the Kentucky game. But it's also true that he had assembled a team that was 3rd in offensive scoring and 2nd in defensive scoring, a team that was good enough to make a run to the title game. That's a pretty good coach.

Comes with the territory of having a good HC.

Noone is loyal these days. Thats the business

Him leaving isn't the problem I have. It's him wasting good teams and good seasons on bullshite that he could prevent.

That's a good recruiter. That's not the definition of a good coach.

We were also relevant under Freeze.

Kiffin is 100% overrated, and Ole Miss can do better than him. Sure, if he wins 4 more games this season he will lead Ole Miss to 3 straight 10-win seasons for the first time in the history of the program...but how big of an accomplishment is that.

If it wasn't for a 2 point loss at Tennessee in '58 and a 3 point loss at LSU in 61, John Vaught would have had 5 straight 10-win seasons...actually...add to that 1 more point in the 7-7 tie at Mississippi State in '57, and he would have had 6 straight 10-win seasons. See...they aren't that rare. So, yes...this will be the first time that Ole Miss has ACTUALLY won 10 games for 3 consecutive years...but...wait, I forgot my point.

But lost 3 games and accomplished nothing. He’s BKs younger version

Yeah, I forgot he splits into 11 seperate positions and executes them simultaneously on this own.

Why didn't he run the ball and try to milk the clock against UGA last week when we went up by 9?

Maybe he was feeling like he didn't need to based on the flow of the game. If you had won, would this have even been an issue?

My problem is nitpicking an excellent coach to death. Every top coach has made a decision that made little or no sense to the average at home fan-coach.

To be fair...nobody on the coaching staff was alive for them, either.

This. Running the offense as is scored us touchdowns every single drive. When we started drives in the 4th with running the ball....it led to 2 3-and-outs and a 4-and-out to end the game.

Go back and watch the game. The 1st drive started with a pass in the backfield and more incomplete passes. The 2nd drive started with a run for 1st down and then 3 incomplete passes.

Had we run the ball, we may have left no time for UGA to even kick that last FG.

Dude, what on earth are you talking about? You haven't had a great coach since Vaught left in the early 70's. Cut was ok, but not an elite level coach. Lane has your program at levels you haven't seen in years, and if he leaves, you're going back to a program that struggles to enter the top 25.

Let’s just say that there’s a reason Saban told Kiffin to leave following the playoff semifinal game in 2016 even though Alabama advanced to the national championship game.

Kiffin IMO is a stupendously great coach whose one issue is that he has the emotional maturity of, and will probably die with the emotional maturity of, your average horny 16-year-old and not just in his personal life, at some point or another, wherever he’s at, his immaturity is going to manifest itself on the sideline and he is going to underachieve.
