Can confirm, there has been no issues with Arik.
He heard about this rumor from some buddies still on the LSU team, and it that started from some LSU posters on a paysite. He doesn’t really care about all that.
He will be running mostly with the 2s but taking some snaps with 1s this weekend in the scrimmage. He still has work to do on blocking downfield and learning the playbook.

As an LSU fan I have no feelings one way or the other with Arik, last season he left the team and you guys have him now. A great talented gifted player physically, similar to Fields leaving and going elsewhere. Neither Gilbert or Fields were mistreated and they only needed another school.
I have no idea of what Gilbert's issue with LSU and why he left, he got plenty of playing time, plenty of receptions with great stats. His NFL stock was on the rise so he either had issues with the staff, fellow players or off the field issues.
LSU posters have repeated he is a locker room cancer and I am sure Kirby has vetted this rumor and we shall see his future with the Bulldogs.
Gilbert may be one of the most talented athletes in college football, two years we can judge his career and for now let the kid develop and stop the rumors
