At least they aren’t being a bunch of sissy losers and opting out of their bowl game to “teach everyone a lesson.”
Good luck against Michigan, Longhorns
P.S. I’m an Aggie fan who lost a bet.

I think they realize Arch needs as much practice as possible!

lol.
In all seriousness, though, more practice time is a big deal. ND turning down a chance to play against a high-level opponent with their freshman QB is a great demonstration of “biting your nose to spite your face.”

It’s going to be interesting to see who actually plays. Sark is having his exit interviews today and we’ve already seen a couple guys hit the portal. We have a few defensive starters who are going to sit out because of nagging injuries. We were already a young team so it shouldn’t look much different.

And yet, Arch doesn't need much practice beat beating overrated aggy. He's done it two years straight.

You should poll the Texas players and get a show of hands about who wants the extra practice sessions. You may be surprised.

more practice time is a big deal.
I am sure Georgia players enjoyed the scrimmage they held with Florida State's freshman team a couple of years ago but on the record books it looks like the worst beating in Seminole football history.
I think the list of opt out teams was up to 9 before there were enough to fill up the card of all 41 bowl games.
I say make those bowl game committees sweat, increase the payouts or get out of the business.
They've had it their own way for so long they don't know what to do now that the colleges have taken some of the initiative back.

I'm actually rooting for y'all too.
Pretty much as long as Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Miami do not win then I will call this tournament a success.

You should keep the Texas logo. It looks good on you.

I feel the Longhorns might approve of me joining their ranks, but my dad wouldn’t, and the A&M color is a lot better anyway.

Remove the W-L records on these glorified scrimmages. FSU basically pulled a ND and played a bunch of kids who had been barely out of high school. And took the loss. Sure they got paid but it was a net loss to the program

I would guess there are quite a few young blue chips who didn’t play much this year that are chomping at the bit to show what they’ve got. They’d better bring it in bowl practices and this glorified scrimmage/bowl game if they want to earn PT in ‘26. This is their chance to not get ‘portaled’ over.

I swear, man, you are all over this board today with your “We beat a playoff team!” schtick.
We get it. You won your Super Bowl. I wish we had won, but we are still playing meaningful ball. I’ll take where we are, thank you.
I have no idea what point you are trying to make. Is it your position that only undefeated teams should be in the playoff?
I swear, you’re like the annoying brother-in-law that can’t stop running his yap about crap the rest of the family doesn’t give a rip about.
ETA: And this is in a thread where an Aggie posted unsolicited and legitimate praise for your team.
