Your heisman winning QB played for a weaker pac12 school and threw for 2300 yards and 10 touchdowns to 10 interceptions in his final season before transferring in. I’d think LSU of all fans would know the phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Aka, who knows how any of these portal players will pan out, but again, is it a crime to be excited about change?

Haha, what are you reaching for dude? Neither of those two posts talk down anything about what the longhorns accomplished. Simply statements of exactly what I said, winning the orange bowl we finished #4, which is around the area the longhorns will finish this year. Neither of those quotes say anything that Texas fans shouldn’t be happy with how this season went. You seriously are reaching xwing. Take some time off buddy.

You’re ability to sidestep the goalposts is almost admirable. You first called me out for hypocritically talking down excitement and downplaying the longhorn season, which the two posted quotes didn’t do at all.
Now you’ve moved on to talking about playoffs and school songs?
Again, in none of my posts did I allege A&M played in the playoffs or how it was the exact same as the longhorns. Simply that our final AP ranking was #4, you know, the poll that’s been around that most people reference. After the 2023 season wraps up on Monday, the longhorns final ranking is likely to be somewhere around 4-6, that’s all I stated. We can debate is the CFP loss better than a NY6 no-CFP win, that’s fair game.
And bringing in our fight song? Again, I don’t have much of a problem if A&M gets brought into a thread after it’s started. This was a specific A&M related thread I responded to. You are the one who seems to make a big deal when longhorns get drug into an unrelated thread. But you had to make this one about them somehow.

But the fact is either way we can't win. We keep Jimbo we sign a better class but all offseason yall go on about how we pay 9 million a year for 8 wins. We fire Jimbo and the new guy suddenly isn't good enough despite not even coaching one game during a transition class.
Frankly I appreciate the fact that yall pick on us so much like yall used to do to Arky before we moved to the SEC (no one gives a shite about them anymore), but on this topic wait until we lose some games next year to spike the football.
