There will be a 25 team league next year that will be a super conference. Fox has already cut the deal.

No other teams are capable of winning 3 games except the Big 10 and SEC.....bruh...Clemson much? They regularly dismantled Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Yes it was a few years ago but c'mon bruh the SEC and Big 10 ain't that much better, especially with the portal and NIL. Smfh

The goal is not to find the “best” teams but to find the most deserving teams based on record ( quality wins and quality losses). SOS, and Eye test (consistency, stats). Unfortunately they fail at that often.

This is actually a common discussion in sports sociology
Single-elimination tournaments don't actually tell you who the best team is because all of the paths aren't equal, and it relies purely on transitive property
These things simply crown a tournament winner. It's not the same thing.

This is why I can't take my garnet and black brothers whining about the LSU game and the refs. Sure we were hosed, but championship teams are complete. USC doesn't have a kicker that can reliably make field goals beyond 40 yards. If we did, the outcomes of that game and the Bama game are likely different.
