Every single fricking talking head I’ve heard about this game has told me different things.

“LSUs o line is better than Caronlina’s Dline.”
“South Carolina’s D line is much better than LSU’s O line.”
“LSU will dominate.”
“LSU will struggle against an elite defense.”
“Carolina will struggle to even get field goals.”
“The score will be so close because defenses Carolina will keep it close.”

I think we would all expect a moderate sized LSU victory but honestly, the “talking heads” all seem to be in disagreement of this game

So you expect LSU to win? Because I don’t think Carolina (I almost called them Clemson just now) can put up points at significant velocity

LSU’s offense will be challenged by South Carolina’s defense, but South Carolina’s offense will be challenged by LSU’s defense, but LSU’s special teams will go to South Carolina for Gamecock returns to the LSU endzone if they don’t block.

It does seem to be strength vs strength, or weakness vs weakness

Their Oline hasnt given up a sack, and only 4 QB touches. Our Dline is eating up offensive lines. Their run blocking has been average and if we have a weakness its runs up the middle.

our offense has struggled to run the ball, their defense has struggled to stop the run. Our pass offense has been average, their pass defense is pretty decent.

It could go either way. The only way I don't really see it going is an SC blowout.

We averaged 260 yards of offense against Old Dominion and Kentucky. We are gonna get our arse beat probably

I don’t think our defense can score three td’s to go with our offenses two to three fg’s.

To start off South Carolinas QB is at the bottom of the sec, and their rushing game is 2*8 a carry.. they have play makers but looking at who they played this will be rough on them if our front 7 gets disruptive for four quarters!

Next South Carolinas defense has 2 very talented defensive ends but we have to first round pass rush blockers.. unless Carolina use alot of blitzes and make they're secondary vulnerable they won't get pressure! It'll be a 400 yard passing day massacre but only if our backs get gashing plays to bring the safeties up!

LSU has the tools to win but it comes down to coaching!

South Carolina doesn’t really have any weapons and other than their defensive line i’m not sure what unit on their team is really supposed to scare me?

This LSU defense held Lincoln Riley in relative check so not sure why your expect South Carolina to do much.

I wouldn't touch this game. We Carolinians are loyal, but we aren't stupid. We hope for a victory, but we've all seen this song and dance before. We'll probably get run out of the stadium.

This is backwards, LSU's run defense has been solid, other than that one long run vs Nicholls. They did lose their best DT this week though.

Getting gashed in the passing game though.

I think to expose LSU's D you need good running and passing. I don't think Sellers is good enough for them to rely on passing. SC hasn't played a real QB yet. Nuss probably picks them apart with the studs at WR. Could still be a close game as the LSU D has been inconsistent and given up lots of points and first downs so far.

LSUs defense is softer than baby shite, especially against the run. USC’s QB is going to go for 150 on the ground and hit a couple of deep passes.

I guess it all depends on which Carolina team shows up to the game. If it's game 1 SC, SC loses. If it's game 2 SC, they win by a lot.

I'm not discounting Nussmeier's passing ability, but this is also his first true road start in what will undoubtedly be the most hostile environment he's played in to this point in his career. How many procedures did you pick up in Vegas? There are also three All Americans in the Carolina secondary. Can Nussmeier be perfect enough in the passing game to offset what is, admittedly, a weakness in LSU's running game?

Looking at stats doesn't tell the whole story regarding Sellers. He has been efficient, and accurate where needed. Will he be able to withstand LSU's blitz-heavy attack? Dunno. He doesn't feel pressure as well as you'd like, but he is a very capable runner when loose, even though he's a pass-first mobile QB.

I wouldn't touch this game, but I sincerely doubt it will be an LSU cakewalk. You'll have to earn it.

Haven't seen this mentioned yet but LSU plays like dogshit at 11AM everywhere on the planet.

I really have no idea how this game is going to play out. Hoping for the best because if LSU can get their shite together they'll be dangerous as anyone. But we are not there right now and may not get there at all if we lose this one.

LSU is a TD favorite thought the ESPN analytic has them at 50/50. This is in BR, so I would expect LSU should win. I'm curious to know the expectations of LSU fans but I would think that if USC wins, Kelly will undebatably be hot on the chair.

This is what i wonder about- has LSU’s defense really improved over last season? I believe Nuss will lead the offense to score plenty of points (especially if SC can’t move the ball and their def wears out), just not sure about what the Cocks will do on Offense…
