I don't like the spread. I'd bet Texas to cover.

However, LSU is coming home with a win. That's a lock.

You offer nothing to back up your prediction other than your gut. The Horns may very well win. It's a home a game and they have the talent. LSU is the more talented team, had good leadership and is used to playing in front of hostile crowds. This should arguably be LSU's best team since the 2011 season. You make it sound like Herman is some genius. He is not.

Somebody posted that Texas returns the least amount of starters in FBS.Not sure if it's true or not but Ehlinger is overrated IMO and Aranda will dial up defense to contain em.

Not sure what the LSU offense will do but Texas has to replace 8 starters.

Wouldn't touch the game but I would lean towards LSU and give up the points.

The starters that they lost were bad enough to lose to 4 teams that didn’t win 6 games

Let that sink in

No consider that the replacements couldn’t beat out those guys

Don't know how long you've been an expert gambler but in football, especially college football, There is no such thing as a Lock, Patriots losing to the Giants when they were 16 & 0, that was a Lock where Vegas did very well. Wouldn't surprise me if UT wins but certainly Not a Lock.

I think corn dog wins, but it might be close.

Pretty much what every intelligent person thinks is going to happen.

Will be pleasantly surprised if it doesn't. Just like I was pleasantly surprised by the victories over OU and Georgia last year.

Texas was a 2 point favorite the last time I looked.

Jerrod Heard?

TE Andrew Beck?

Edit: Beck was All Big 12 and a Mackey Award finalist. He and Lil Jordan Humphrey count for a lot of experience and production. So yeah they count for something.

Jerrod heard was pretty much a non-factor when he moved to WR but Beck is a loss, no doubt about it. He was not a Mackey Award finalist.

Collin Johnson also had 1,000 yds last year I believe. Texas has another senior who started all 3 years and then a lot of very raw talent, albeit inexperienced, to fill out the position.

Will probably be the most fun position matchups of the game, imo.

Spread I saw had LSU -2.5.

Maybe it was old and folks started to load up on UT

Final score, LSU 31, Arkansas 27.

This is accurate and how LSU wins this game, not "throwing the ball".
