I’ll own it: I buried my head in the sand when Lebby was crowing about it. Figured it was just sour grapes. Turns out there may have been a little truth mixed in.
I also thought the same thing but some of that was spin by out media. Now hearing about rehab and how he handled Covid I have no doubt Lebby ran the program.

Pete’s a trooper, but there’s been a lot of smoke the last couple of years that he was the one actually keeping the car between the lines from a structure and portal eval standpoint.
I think JJ also played a huge role in this as well. I thought the break up stories around Kentucky were about Dart but in reality it was the Kiffin and Sally. Regardless Pete and JJ were determined not to let a repeat of 2024. Even when Kiffin was blowing off responsibilities this year they ran the show (go see Eli’s vailed shade at Kiffin about not attending day to day meetings)

Now the one guy who might be able to do that is splitting time in Oxford and could bolt to the NFL at any moment.
Charlie doesn’t want nor does he have the personality to get Kiffin to focus.

"Most expubidently" is a well-known catchphrase from the classic 1970s sitcom Sanford and Son.
The word is a comical malapropism of "most evidently" or "most assuredly," used to express emphatic agreement or certainty.
One notable use occurs in an episode when Lamont asks Fred if he believes a certain experience is worth $50, and Fred responds, "Most expubidently".

Ya think? This is the Rant, after all.
First year might be rough, but it usually is for a first year coach. You'll see big improvement in year 3, then should hit the norm in year 3.
Year 2 could be big if he can get transfer portal guys to acclimate quickly.

Yes, because Chambliss was such a sought after portal QB
98% of OM fans had never heard of him the day he was signed.

LSU is fine. The "WR from Hawaii" is a stud, we needed someone on offense who could bring big play potential and he brings it. Only thing I am worried about is Leavitt, I dont think he is as good as the hype and then you throw in recovering from a nasty injury. Apparently his brother (and NIL agent) is also a headcase.

You will be lucky if the coaches still follow him after this playoff run...

I think there was an unrealistic expectation by some that LSU could shoot the moon the first year w Kiffin and that’s being met right now by the reality that it still takes work and time to build a program. 2026 will probably mirror 2025 in terms of success simply bc it’ll take time to build a good OL with a chance of a strong finish if right moves are made there. In 2027 you’ll start to find out if he was the right choice or not.

The QB from Cincinnati had a deal in place with Tech I heard 4 million it might be 5..i don't know if LSU can match that level and still spend money for other players as well..Cam Coleman is seeking 4 million...Texas may bite the bullet.
20 million for Ohio State's championship team seems like a discounted championship now.
.let's see if you pay 90 million for your coach and what another 40-50 million for staff..how much NiL are you going to spend ?
you got Lane now your going to tell him no you can't spend that much now?
and can you maintain it yearly..Texas tech can..Ohio State, Texas & A&M, Michigan, Oregon, Miami ... LSU?

We should stop playing nice with Ole Miss and bring our coaches home.
They are Ole Miss coaches, not LSU coaches, idiot.
Don't worry. They will all be moving to that ghetto shite hole known as BR soon enough. Not that they can save your dumpster fire program, but they will try.

Lane brought in 30 players last year from the portal who are performing quite well. ….70% of OM starters are transfers. I love how we are cleaning house.

Is this the mass exodus that LSU fans were warning Ole Miss fans about?

It’s barely Monday. Slow down a bit.

They should have gotten Durkin as the DC, he has handled the Kiff thing before and could have helped with the disorganization that comes.
