As to Arkansas' particular, it boils down to two items.

Offensive line play- they're not just bad, they're historically bad up front. They have one plus player, and he's a true freshman playing about 40 pounds lighter than you want a starter to play.

When you have those issues, developing consistent quarterback play just doesn't happen. So you don't sustain drives on the ground, can't convert on key third downs, and put your defense on the field for long stretches.

That's where they are. Will it get better? Maybe. Will it be better tomorrow? No.

AT the beginning of Year I watched Pruitt on the Marty and Mcgee show on SEC channel. After listening to the conversation and Pruitt's answers I knew he was not the going to do well this year. He seems honestly not that bright. I am not referring to his southern accent, I referring to his general answers to the questions he was asked. He can probably handle one phase of the team, ( Defense) but other than that he looks lost. Tennessee deserves better.

It’s Karma at UT and I don’t know about the others except they have never really been anything but average.

UT got just what they deserved.

TN needs to fire Fulmer today. They won't but he's the link to their successful years and that's the problem. You can't look back, you must look forward. Pruitt can't achieve his own pinnacle with Fulmer standing in the back of every news conference and meeting.

You mention problems that stretch back over a decade and want us to fire the guy that's been on the job for one year and who actually knows what success looks like.

I mean, we won't argue about it that you want to keep the guy that killed the Leach deal when he stabbed the previous AD in the back.

Keep him forever, till he dies even, and then bury him in the boneyard at your creepy institution.

That'll show us!

USC does have some good recruits. The common denominator is Will Muschamp. He was the big hire out of Texas

it has been a while, I will give you that. But under Bobby P we were anything but average. Top 5 ranking, BCS game the next year. That isn't average in this league or the NCAA at all.

With Houston Nutt, grrr! We were not average all years. played in the SEC title game twice.

With Holtz, we weren't average, with Broyles... etal.

We are definitely in a crap hole now and not one I am sure we will pull out of.

Every team has some good players. But consistently year in and year out, Scar is a middle of the road or a bad football team

If Im South Carolina or Tenn im throwing the bank at Leach... you make Washington STate into a top 25 team you have done something... and Locksley and Joe Brady have proven you can air raid the SEC... I think we are seeing a shift in the offensive Identity of the SEC... prob not much more ground and pound...

I posted on our board after the Mizzou game that I wanted Kiffin. I would much rather have Leach but the main reason I’d take Kiffin over the Pirate is the price tag. Once we pay that idiot Muschamp his $20mil buyout it’ll be cheaper to pick up Kiffin than it would Leach.

Do I want the baggage Kiffin will bring? No. But frick it, we took a chance on Boom, Kiffin can’t be much worse performance wise.

Nope. Our OL and DL got their shite pushed in by San Jose State. We're pathetic.

If there's 1 common theme with all the SEC cellar dweller teams is their HC's had no proven success as a college HC, some this is their 1st experience as a HC.
Mason, Morris, Pruitt are great assets as coordinators, lost as can be as HC's.

The SEC isn't where you should get your feet wet as a HC. Look at Odom, took him 3 years to figure out when to punt.

For us, it’s not talent. For sure. I’ve never been a muschamp fan, ever and he’s proving it to be accurate each and every game. This team should be at worst 2-2, 3-1 more likely.

What everyone has to remember about the Missouri game, there were two defensive touchdowns in that game for Missouri and a true freshman playing banged up on the road for the first time. I’m not throwing in the towel on the season yet, but it’s obvious muschamp has to go.

UT has an entitlement culture. From the HC on down. Look at all the shite their coaches and players talked without ever having won anything.

But ask USCe, arky or tenny. We live in their heads, while stomping their QBs head and in the end zone with another score.

Calm down, Skippy. This is the first time Mizzou has beaten Muschamp at USC, and we want the fricker fired.

You're hardly in the fanbase's head. We'd largely forgotten about you.

As for the USC collapse, the team is small, at every position. There isn't a lot of talent, the defense is tissue paper soft, and there's an overall lack of discipline you wouldn't expect out of a guy who was once known for being a hothead. Coaching is crap, the admin is weak, and the players aren't committed. Don't know how you fix it, but Muschamp isn't the guy. And he'll be here for several more years.

Arkansas has had such weird coaching transitions

South Carolina lost Spurrier as Clemson was rising

Tennessee is the real bottomless void. They remind me a bit of texas after Alabama broke Colt.

According to the 247 talent composite, you are a top 25 team. Tennessee actually has more talent on paper than Florida.
