It honestly hurts my heart that the DSOR has existed through multiple world wars, worldwide plague, depression, etc. but will finally end because of money. It's disgusting.

If DSOR goes away it will kill a lot of my enthusiasm for college football.

Because college football is cyclical, but your response indicates you are too young or too dumb to know that.

Running away like you want is just another type of surrender, are you fricking French or something?

I love playing Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss every year.

I do too. But I have a problem with Bama getting Tenn, Vandy, and Mizzou every year.

As much as it pains me, rotating games is what’s most equitable for the conference.

Although with the playoff expanding and CCGs basically becoming meaningless, I don’t know anymore. There are years were the SEC might sweep the playoffs even with multiple losses, especially with Oklahoma and Texas joining.

1. Scott Woodward is heralded by anyone that’s not a dumb frick as a top AD

So what you’re saying is that Jimbo’s contract is the product of a top-notch AD? Noted.

We would still play Georgia every 2 years bro. It wouldn't be going away.
Also, go back and look at this series since 2005. It ain't pretty.

People act like all these teams won’t still play each other. Time get over historical BS and make schedules that are more fair.

No coach with a national championship was going to A&M without a ridiculous contract. We alllll know how Aggy felt about Scott Woodward when he made the hire.

There was no chance he would ever leave for LSU.

Who gave Jimbo his extension?

I remember Jimbo saying no to the purple people and in a hurry. Big contract and all.

& those annual rivalries are what make college fb.
But it's NOT the fault of the teams who have them (as those without want to blame).

I'm completely fine with it. Scheduling fairness matters! Us for instance:why should we be the only program that has to play the 2 most dominating programs in college football while everyone else gets to avoid them? And those 2 said programs hardly ever play each other!
#End permanent opponents!

Dont forget Tennessee plays Bama and UGA every year, along with UF, who until recently was just as tough of a game.

We already did this with divisions. Hell most folks don’t even know Auburn and the Bols were a decent rivalry.

Absolutely

The special thing about the SEC is the history. The games played every year are most of the history.

Nothing against the newer schools. I enjoy those games too. But they are lagniappe. The main course is Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and MSU.

UGA/AU and Bama/UT not playing yearly is absolutely sickening.

There's no reason those games can't be played annually.
