I did not see the K-State game. For those who did, have a question.

I know KSU historically starts off the season like this but my question is, were they playing pretty vanilla on offense? Snyder is such a good coach and he will be ready for Msu. Did he play a lot of true freshmen like we did or were they just not playing well period.

Until this coming up game I always pulled for KSU because they play hard and show up big vs better competition. As someone pointed out already (Showing their last so many seasons) you can never judge a Snyder team this early. Anyway, I did not see the game so therefore have no opinion but would like some feedback, especially from A&M fans and Missouri fans who have seen this before and were in their conference so long.

Based on Auburn’s game there in 2014 - Snyder will have them game-planned well. Not a big stadium but deceptively loud. The guy is nearly 100 but playing them in Manhattan is not an easy task.

I have no idea what they look like this year but that’s what Snyder and their home venue bring.

hes the best coah ever IMO. his 2012 team that won 11 games, 35 of his 44 players were either JUCOS or walkons.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured as such. Well hopefully Moorhead has some wrinkles. I know a few of the Big12 fans like OU fans etc on this board said do not judge a Snyder team off of one game. I guess I should hope we beat them and then KSU goes on to win 10 games and gives us a quality win later in final polls or at least near the seasons end. Thanks guys.

That’s the main thing to take away. Just get out of there with a win. If you win big - great. If you win ugly - great.

Good point, just get the win. I have heard it's very loud and tough playing them in their house so yes, I'll take an ugly win if that's what it takes.

They are still going to be rotating QBs. Neither did much vs South Dakota. I think they only passed for a combined 180 passing yds vs a FCS foe

The 2014 KSU team challenged for the conference title

I think MSU is simply a much better team this year

I'll be very interested to watch this one early on Saturday. This is a great test for a State team with a new coach trying to make noise.

11 AM game in a foreign environment against a team that you just watched film of almost losing to a 1AA team. No flashy players, easy to get lulled to sleep. Kansas State will try and trap you into their game and you look up in the 4th and it is 23-20 and they have you right where they want you.

If State comes out and dominates up front and convincingly smothers KSU and plays well from start to finish that will be really, really impressive.

I predict it will be along the lines of the OM/tech game. Look for us to get out with lead and just stay out of reach all game. I think they may make a few plays but won't matter.

Yalls backup QB looked good he might end up taking Fitzgerald’s spot. But I wouldn’t take Kansas State lightly. Especially in Manhattan. They have a history of knocking off OU. Their fans get up for big time games.

Also, I wouldn’t assume just because they’re Big12 that they aren’t tough. Snyder is a different type of Big12 coach when it comes to coaching toughness.

Y’all should win but i wouldn’t expect a state blowout win.

11am and a potential rainy morning helps us tremendously. The only way I can realistically see them beating us is if they air it out and take advantage of our defensive backs.

Snyder has an abnormally good track record in that stadium. We need to bring all we've got.

He's serviceable but he would not do well against experienced defenses. His completion percentage was pretty poor the other night

50% of the passes he threw were absolute bombs, the completion percentage does not concern me.

Even with the low completion percentage his passer rating was 192. His qbr was 6th highest in FBS.
