They decided around 1969-70 to start recruiting black players. Darrel was a racist, but he realized that he had to recruit Black players.

If I had to live anywhere other than where I live it would be the deep piney woods of East Tx. Lived in Gladewater for about 6 months in 64’ and loved every minute of it. So close to the Kilgore Rangerettes and they wouldn’t give this Okie boy the time of day.

I’ve had family members who have moved to Texas and have done well and my son lived in Keller for awhile and he enjoyed it.

We went to six flags when I was a kid and Galveston to visit my cousins and I enjoyed that.

They spent alot of money on highway improvements, it’s going to hurt when the Mexicans are bussed out to the camps. They do the labor no one else wants to do.

It is good for many I guess.

They have Fort Worth and a few nice suburbs.

ETA you meant university.. uhh.. the football fan base is way less gay than the student body as a whole. Still metro though.
