What do you mean "given"? I thought schools could give themselves NC's any time they want?

UK already has 8 in basketball which already exceeds 6
They have some other NC's in smaller sports.

Well then there's no need for them to put the 6 championships in the hypothetical in basketball.

3 football 3 basketball

At this point I would be more excited to win the NCAA basketball tournament than another bcs national championship game.

Of course that will change about 5 years after Saban leaves

6 thong bikini mud wrestling championships...preferably ladies. (as A&M are now our rivals I thought this clarification necessary)

In principle, I'd say 5 football and 1 basketball. But in our case, I'd go 3 and 3. 3 or 5 more football titles just puts us farther in front of everyone else, while 3 basketball titles would make us a power in that sport.

shite. I'm showing my true bammer genes by not reading good and shite. I guess 5 football and 1 baseball? If a baseball national championship would make our environment like Mississippi's I'm down. I always love a good party.

So every Crimson Tide sport that hasn't won a title. These titles will give momentum for at least 4 of them to begin a winning tradition and join Gymnastics, Football and Softball as perennial contenders.
