You people need to make up your mind. When Saban retired, but kept an office at Alabama, i said he would help Alabama recruit, within ncaa rules (whatever that is anymore) and I was roundly derided snd assured he would not.

If having a photo in your office with a few recruits counts as recruiting.
It's like you don't even pay attention to all the things Saban has going on. Recruiting is a full time job, and thankfully Alabama has some good recruiters on the staff, including the GM, Courtney Morgan. In fact, I think what Morgan does will be a trend in college football.

It’s easier to recruit someone if they are from a place with family near. Saban was able to recruit/buy 5*s nationally.
