I remember all the Auburn fans before the season saying how much more successfull Freeze would be at Auburn then he was at Ole Miss. All because Auburn is a superior football program than Ole Miss.

That sounded great then.

Now though, Ole Miss is ranked in the top 10 and Auburn is fighting with Mississippi State for worst team in the conference. Even the Birmingham Bowl looks off the table.

It seems like the many Auburn fans are changing their opinion on Freeze. Soon they will be asking “who hired him?”, “how much is his buy out?”, “who could we get to replace him?”

Harsin destroyed that program but Auburn fans are so impatient they’re gonna run him off and he stuck in a perpetual cycle of changing head coaches every couple years before they can ever build the program back up

Hm, maybe. Auburn sabotaged Harsin's tenure early and appear to have hired a coach that is worse in just about every way.

I’d argue now that Harsin was a better Auburn coach than Hugh. At least through the first two seasons. Harsins teams were more disciplined.

I think if we compare their records after two seasons it will be pretty clear.

Who would have predicted Freeze going 10-15 his first two seasons?

What a dork. If not for two blown coverages, Auburn doesn’t score a point.

Ole Miss fans, did Freeze appear this clueless and tone deaf when he was your coach?

ETA: Never mind, I forgot about this.

I’d argue escort pussy combined with paid players is what made him great. Minus the escorts he’s not the same.

Hugh was innovative once upon a time. He was one of the first college coaches to emphasize designing offenses around elite WR play. The problem is he believes his offense is the best and doesn't need to change. Elite playcallers like Kiffin and Dark have adapted schematically as the game evolved. Hugh is the smartest guy in the room according to Hugh and it's not his offense's fault.

Dude is such a worm. He’s insinuating this 1 out of 10 times bad performance was on his team. Other 9 wins would be him.

Ladies of the night aren’t his fault.
Losing isn’t his fault.
Shady bagmen back when there could
Be shady bagmen weren’t his fault.
