Auburn beat 7 teams with over 9 wins last year. 3 teams in their division won 10 games. That speaks volume for the type of teams they beat that year. That didn't dominate everybody because everybody was so good.

The old, the "SEC is down" line I see. Just happens in years Alabama is rolling. Odd.

That is a pretty good question - however impossible to answer. I will say I've never seen a team as good as LSU was this past weekend. If they play like that next week I suspect they will beat UA. That defense was absolutely nasty. I wasn't overly impressed with their offense - but to score 45 points on about 300 yards says more about their defense than anything (short fields, turnovers, etc.). It would have been worse with the badger and Ware. Ware was missed more than the badger. If your going to beat LSU this year you better win the turnover battle and hope they beat themselves. Maybe some heppin from the refs too.

Unless Cam can play OL, we would have still lost to LSU this year. Probably would have beat Clemson and maybe Ark.

LSU beats 'Bama on the road.
AU beats 'Bama at home.
LSU beats AU at home.

LSU 8-0
AU 7-1
UA 6-2
Arky 5-3

2010 Auburn and 2011 Alabama would be pretty close. Bama would probably win.

2011 LSU would beat either on a neutral field.

Well, I'm pretty unbiased, considering LSU is rolling too.

The SEC is down. Alabama and LSU are really good, but the mid-level SEC teams are down.

I would say there would be a four way tie with all the A teams and LSU.

Threads like this are idiotic...

lame attempts to make up for an 'L'?

How would this year's BAMA and LSU teams fare against Army's 1945 team?

I mean ..really?

How would General Grant's 1865 Army fare against the Modern Navy Seals?

lol

Cam played it extremely close against 2010 Alabama and 2010 LSU, who weren't nearly as good as the 2011 versions.

Auburn 2010 would not lose to Bama or LSU 2011. Cam was that good. Our offensive line was that good. Our defensive line was that good .

LSU played us great last week but we put that same kind of ripping on USCe in the SECCG.

Its different years but last years BCS National Champions would not lose

Haha, just be glad Cam went Pro - or you would probably have lost this year. The better question - if Cam was AU's QB this year - what would AU's record be - consider his improvement after one year. I suspect we would be undefeated. As good as your D is - Cam would still bitch slap them.

Cam is a great athlete but he's just one man. Y'all would still need to block for him and from what I seen from the LSU game, that young OL is terrible right now. If y'all had Cam and the OL back from last year, I think we'd end in a 3 way tie but with just Cam, I don't think AU would beat UA or LSU.

No.

That bulk of that success Auburn had between the 20 yard lines for the first quarter and a half Saturday is eliminated with Mathieu in the game.

Last year LSU played Auburn to the last 2:00 minutes on their home field.

Alabama's block field goal from inside the 10 yard line would have put Bama up 27-0 and would have been the dagger in the heart.
LSU's offense is leaps and bounds better than last year.

Definitely. With just Cam back, I doubt AU beats either. Cam and the Oline back along with Bynes and Fairley and it is anyone's guess.

I disagree, I feel like the SEC is down this year compared to the last few years... maybe not last year though

But I feel like its was a much deeper league in 2008/2009... and Bama went undefeated in the conference both of those years
