If he was smart with his NFL money he doesn’t have to work.

Enjoy family and life

I use readers to see up close. Started about 2 years ago.

Funny thing if I eat unhealthy and don’t watch my diet my eyes are 20/20 if I eat healthy and watch my diet for my blood pressure and A1C then I need readers sometimes
Falken wild peaks At3

35x12.5x20

2 years going strong. Normal wear got about 40,000 on them
I’m gonna say put the $350,000 into an etf or 2 like VTI

Then when you get to 55 or maybe couple years later start moving into income driven etf with good dividend yield

re: 401k vs Roth 401k

Posted by bulldog95 on 12/13/25 at 6:10 pm to
I contribute the max to my 401K (24,500) in 2026 but in 2027 I can up it to at least $32,500. I choose 401K instead of Roth 401K I want the tax breaks now to help keep my income levels in the 22% tax bracket since I file single

Max out my Roth in 2026 (7500) more in 2027 depending on a few things

Then I contribute $500 bi weekly to my taxable account into a core of funds.

I too got started late due to some unforeseen decisions but I’m playing catch up now.

Also own 200+ acres of land in 3 parishes

after 2 months of nothing you need to find shite to do. I ain't going back to work. Normal work is slavery imo. People in general dont get paid enough. I fish alot but it isn't enough. Its made me quite lazy but then I look at crystal blue water and beautiful sun in the sky and realize that i have it made. If I dont want to do anything and be a bum I can.

Get a mower and do yard work a few days a week gives you something to do and it’s not an everyday 9-5 job.

re: Thoughts on LNG stocks?

Sorry you are correct OKE is midstream and that’s what I’m concentrating on not pure LNG sticks

There’s several I’m interested in OKE being #1 also looking hard at USAI for a sector ETF
I’ve owned 2 vehicles since 2002

2002 ford F150 (260,000) that would still be on the road today if I hadn’t bypassed safety feature and it caught on fire. Had to cut off the cats nothing else wrong with it

2019 Ram classic love this truck (155,000) replace front wheel bearings (it’s jacked up 7.5 and 5 front rear with wide 12 ply tires) and cut the cats off.

Fingers crossed it lasts me till I get another one in a year or 2 and it will be a hunting/play truck
Yes plus quarterly bonuses based on specific criteria

re: Big Deer killed around Dubach?

Posted by bulldog95 on 12/4/25 at 10:22 am to
I live around Dubach. No way a deer was allowed to get that big unless a high fence (I think there’s a place in downsville and Sterlington).

Around here a deer is lucky to get big enough to be a 6 point.

I killed the largest deer in my life (8 point) in 1998 since then I’ve seen maybe a handful of small racked 8 points and a 10 point

Darnold in a nut shell.

Plays lights out first half of season, starts regressing 2nd half, sucks in playoffs
