It's a possible that LSU goes 2-4 in its first 6 games.
seeing as this is by far our best roster under Kelly and we've never started anywhere close to that bad,im going to say not a chance.
technically there's always a possibility to lose every game

Death Valley jr. would mean the second.
Clemson was Death Valley first.
LSU was Death Valley second so they are Death Valley jr.
That’s not to say jr. can’t be better than senior ex. Ken Griffey Jr. but LSU is Death Valley jr. nonetheless.
Wasn’t LSU originally called Deaf Valley?

You almost started off last year 1-2…
Thankfully some pick 6’s were called back and LaNorris was out in the 4th quarter.
It’s possible it happens this season as LSU’s schedule seems pretty tough through the first 6 weeks:
at Clemson
Florida
At Ole Miss
SC
However it swings I think LSU is ends up with 8-10 wins and a shot at the playoffs.

In 1999 LSU started out 2-8.

Death Valley holds almost 103,000 fans. Memorial Stadium 82,000. Memorial Stadium never had an earthquake game
Memorial Stadium has the third highest decibel reading recorded at a college football game, behind UTk and the Huskies at Udub.
That is impressive with 20k fewer fans. That said, for total environment, LSU is the tougher venue imo, even if Clemson had a pretty impressive 40 game home winning streak until the Gamecocks ended it for them a few years back.

So you are saying the ACC has a better game environment than the SEC? We are comparing the DEATH VALLEY STADIUMS, not what the frick BAMA has done The comparison is the two stadiums...Game day, tailgating, atmosphere, opponents, etc. LSU easily is DEATH VALLEY....

I think it would be harder to find any rooting against an LSU OOC win on a big stage. The stronger the conference performs OOC, the more it enhances end of year arguments for SEC members to slip into playoff spots.

Both teams have good QBs, so that is a wash. The problem for LSU is, Clemson has some NFL talent on that D and LSU lost 4 of 5 of those magnificent Olmen that kept ol Nussy upright last season. Gonna be a long night for ol Brian 'Can't win an opening game to save my life or job' Kelly.

I think Clemson is the real "Death Valley"...
They have a cemetery located right next to their stadium...
And here is what is wild...
Between July 2020 and January 2021, more than 500 unmarked graves were recovered using ground penetrating radar in the cemetery on the Clemson University campus. The graves are believed to be those of African American enslaved persons, sharecroppers, domestic workers, tenant farmers, convicted laborers, as well as wage workers and their families.

I heard Tiger Stadium was built on an ancient Indian Mound. Might explain a lot.

Basically, the trolls predicting that LSU will lose will then say Clemson just wasn't that good.

I will downplay any signicance it may have, LSU fans said Clemson sucks and did so during each of our recent games against them.

Two great quarterbacks. I'm looking forward to this one, and hoping LSU loses so I can giggle my fricking arse off

Agreed. I’m pretty sure LSU has talked about Texas not beating an elite team last season and it was a cakewalk to the semis.
I’ll give props to Brian Kelly doing what I thought he couldn’t but that’s not really saying much because I think he’s overrated as a coach but we will see.

I see LSU is constructing their own roller coaster this offseason. Bold.
