I feel like a lot of you aren't taking the volunteers seriously. You should be emotionally prepared In case this happens. Just like I prepare for the annual loss to LSU. Beer helps.

The rant would be worse than when Auburn won the title imo. There isn't a fanbase that can out-internet VOLS posters and god help you all if our football team is actually great this year.

I'd love to see UT return to their former glory. Their fans would get more obnoxious but they were bearable back in the day. They might be a tad more humble, having seen how the other half lives.
The East is getting desperate to change the trend westward of conference power. If the Vols step up and bring the SECCG trophy to Knoxville, I'll be happy for them.

You're only making it worse for everyone else.
These ridiculous Volunteer fans are now telling themselves that at least one person from Texas thinks that their program has a shot at the title. Of course, we all know this is fantasy. But they take that shite seriously. That's why every year they are offseason champs -- without question.
I guess it's actually funny in a sense though. So carry on. The letdown is always glorious. Every year.

Meh. If we get hammered then so be it. I'll enjoy football while I can. I don't think he's personally as dirty as everyone wants him to be. I think we got a taste of relevance and our boosters got too bold.

That's probably the best description theory I've heard. People are making it out to be some deep intricate system of cheating when it probably was just a few boosters that got excited and jumped the gun. Freeze just probably tried his best to keep it quiet and couldn't because of so much going on.
