What is "neck" and why can't it (or is it not) being played anymore?

Check it out on YouTube

Basically the students kept chanting "suck that tiger d*ck" to the tune of this song the band played so administration banned it

Students ruining a pretty cool chant

I'm surprised that hasn't been brought up yet.

I feel like a better question is how will you guys handle playing a dominant defense. The lone good defense you guys played shut you down your fantastic rushing game.

Miles is gonna have to come up with something more than that tired arse toss play.

Looking forward to the best LSU has to offer. The "Bama has not faced" saga continues, next stop Baton Rouge. Should be a good one.

.

True, but our Oline has improved greatly since that game (can take a while to get three new lineman in a rhythm) and Hill is emerging which wasn't the case vs FL...he didn't show up till the SC game.

I see this as Bama's O has improved overall (the running game took a step back but the passing game seems improved with AJ) and LSU's D hasn't gotten better. Bama's D is a little worse this year than last (lacks the same amount of star players IMO), but LSU's offense has no juice lately.

The spread is high, but I think about right. LSU can beat Bama, but Bama could lay a whoopin on the current LSU team

We like to say it's the loudest venue, but it's probably not. In 92 when I saw LSU-Bama, the stadium emptied pretty damn quick, too. If Alabama puts a few on LSU, that will probably happen again, so we're not this wonderful venue everybody says all the time. Yeah, the coach sucked then, but still, our fans head for the lifeboats just like everyone else's. And most of the night games now are contest against fairly laughable opponents because most of the big games are 2:30 CBS starts.

Plus, Alabama doesn't seem to be rattled by noise as much as other teams. In fact it's to the point of where they actually have seemed to play better at times in hostile environments.

One reason is the trade off of getting the kids away from their mommas and daddys at home games and having them to themselves (the coaching staff) on the road. So, for Alabama, it about equals out the noise advantage the other team receives.

I don't think it will happen, but won't be surprised if Alabama is beaten, but wow, the fans are a little over the top here. Reminds me of the LSU fans before the national championship game.

If LSU somehow overcomes the blithering idiot of a head coach with that ungodly mismatch and somehow wins, there will be hell to pay with some of these threads on here. I'm sure a lot of them are getting bookmarked just in case Les finds his horseshoe.
