Your point is wrong. Lock stood in the pocket for 5 seconds on 3rd and 11 on the first TD and made a text book throw vs cover 2 on the second.

Moore dropped chain moving throws that hit him in the #s on consecutive drives and the FR TE dropped another.

MU still loses if those plays are made because the defense was still a mess but Lock made several quality throws in the second half. The back end of the play wasn't made.

Mizzou lost by 25. Drew Locke looked good though. Congrats.

Stop trying to move the goalposts.

quote:

Either you are down by 14 points because the running game is being shut down.
You can get down 14 because of a pick 6 and a punt return allowed on consecutive drives. This is a baseless argument.

quote:

you are throwing the football in an attempt to get back into the game and the running attack should be free to get yards before contact.

If you are throwing the ball, you aren't running it. The RB is either helping with protection or in a pattern.

quote:

Georgia probably averages 7+ ypc when the defense is expecting pass

On 3rd down and more than 7 yds to go UGA averaged 8.3 YPC

Mizzou averaged 8.25 YPC

Mizzou won't score 75 total in their first 4 conference games..less than 14 vs uga,20 or less vs usce, 10 or less vs ua, and less than 30 vs uk

Cheers, man.

Don't disappear during the season.

I don't pretend to watch a lot of mizzou games. But I'm starting to doubt that you do as well (not understanding how this conference works. You have to run the ball to have success. Mizzou was not successful running against good teams. You also don't understand how ypc works relative to how often you run the ball)

Well, Tennessee football alums used to call him Derek Dolittle, so I'm thinking he won't fare that well. They all said he was a major azzhole on top of being a poor head coach.

I lived in Georgia/South Carolina for 10 years and watched/went to plenty of SEC games. I get how the conference works.

Don't be dense. YPC= Total Rushing Yds/Total Carries(Sacks and yardage lost are included in this calculation in college. The NFL removes sacks from their rushing equation which gives a truer indication of how a team is running/stopping the run) Running it 30 or 40 times a game doesn't change how the number is calculated.

It doesn't matter how often you run the ball in passing situations. YPC tells how successful you are (or in your case when behind by 2 scores... you arent)

Why the hell was Dooley on the sidelines instead of being inside a booth when he had those hip issues?
