How will Derek Dooley fare?

First year coordinator. First year play caller. First year QB coach.
Mizzou was #1 in scoring offense and total offense last year in the SEC.
Returns 10 starters.
What's the rant official stance on this?

I’d say those numbers are bullshite. The lions share of that offense was against terrible teams or a broken team at the end of the year. Blow outs of tenn and Florida with lame duck staffs mean nothing. They had already quit. I Seriously doubt that Dooley will get them where they need to be. New year tho. We will see. It’s the East. Dooley wasn't a good head coach, but he wasn't as bad as Tennessee's shitty players made him seem.
I actually like Dooley and hope he does well as an OC for you guys.

Not sure what to think honestly. I think they will score plenty. Defensively they need to start off much better. You can’t have much worse of a first half to the season than they did. Offensively it’s up to Dooley just to not screw it up. They SHOULD be a better team

Lol, he had 10 NFL draft picks on offense in his final season, and a few on defense, and couldn't manage to make a bowl game. He also had Chaney and Pittman on his staff. Also didn't recruit a single offensive linemen in his final 2 years.

It is a very rare thing for me to agree with V&S but I do here. Dooley had players, he is simply not a good HC. He may do better as an assistant though I really don't know.
