Burrow played 15 games and 99.999% of all other QB the past century played 10-12 games lol? They didn’t even count bowl games in stats until 2002. This is fake news!!!!

It's pretty amazing what Burrow did considering the competition he went against. It wasn't like he was padding his stats against AAC teams every week.

Hasn't this troll played out? It was semi-interesting when UCF was good, but now you are basically UAB or Western Kentucky. Nobody cares.

This answers your question 'tard. They're broken because the stats count. Maybe NFL stats shouldn't count either since they increased games too.

I kinda agree with the premise. Somehow they Should have Regular Season Records and a post season included record.

Say RB 1- had 2000 yds and RB 2 had 2050 but RB a played 12 games while RB2 played 15 games and had 600 of the yds in games 13-15. IMHO RB1 had a much better season but RB2 would be higher in the record books for total yards due to the 3 extra games he played in due to his teams success..

He’s 1st all-time in td passes, 3rd for yards and 77th in pass attempts.

It's not to late to jump on board a winner. You don't have to go through the rest of your life being sad. Get on a board a winner and feel good about yourself.

Does anyone remember how many games Hawaii played in 2006 when Colt Brennan threw 58 TD passes?

UCF has the opportunity to play 15 games this year. Did they?

He played more games only because he and his team earned the right to. They didn’t get any opportunities that any other team in the CFP era didn’t get, and in a time when one loss in a tough conference can be enough to cost you a playoff berth, I think stat padding is a much weaker argument than it might look on the surface.

But hey, if you want to go back and adjust for shorter seasons, add bowl games for all QBs before 2002, or whatever, be my guest. I’m sure it would be interesting to see how Burrow’s analogous performances would look in comparison.

I guess you didn't want Roger Maris breaking the Babes record to count either right? How about tennis when they went to graphite rackets? Or golf when they put dimples in the balls. Or bowling with the improvement in the balls. The fact is every sport has technological improvements or more games but the stats are the stats.

14. He also didn't play the competition that Burrow did. One of his losses was to a bad Bama team.

Brennan threw 559 passes that year to Burrow's 527. He also threw 12 INTs.
